Just picked up a XP 4 1000 on Friday and put a hundred miles on it over the weekend. I quickly realized that a windshield was going to be a must. How well does the half windshield work? Is it worth it or should I just put the money towards a full one? I live in the desert so most of my riding is faster paced. Thanks in advance.

Aftermarket Seats Question
A buddy of mine just got a set of Triple X Venom seats for his XP1K.
Question is what model and brand is comparable that will fit a 2009 S?
Ordering seats blind without trying them scares me. These Venom seats are amazing.

Rules 4 RZRs in S/W Colorado?
I have a big group of extended family bringing 9 or 10 RZRs to camp & ride in the Silverton Colorado area next month. This will be our first trip to Colorado. Once there we plan to drive our RZRs, all of which are street licensed and insured in our home states of AZ, UT, MT, & MN to & from camp on the many secondary roads & trails. Is this type of RZR travel allowed in that area? We would like to tour around in RZRs from Silverton to Telluride, Ouray, & Lake City including doing the Alpine Loop in them. Today I learned that each machine will need a $25 OHV permit sticker to use the trails but I’m more concerned about traveling to & from camp as well as going into towns for gas, food & services without trailering them. Has anyone on the forum here had experience with riding & touring in that area? Are the authorities in that area pretty relaxed towards OHV travel like they are in UT & AZ? I welcome any & all information and thanks in advance.

Winch mounting Troubles
Hey, so I guess I was a little too excited ordering my new Viper winch from Motoalliance. the winch arrived here quickly and is a great looking unit….However I selected the wrong mounting kit. The one I ordered is for a 2012 and older rzr and of course mine is a 2013 xp900. Does anyone know if I can make this fit or even have pictures of the correct kit so I could copy it? Any input would be great….THX:chair1:
What jack do you carry with you on the trail?

Taylor Park, Colorado Camping/ Ride to trails question
First post here, We will be in taylor Park, CO for the 4th of July 2015 w/ 3 rzr’s. Just wanting to ease the speculation in the brain as to how we get the trails from our campsite. We plan on dispersed camping with really no knowledge of where we are going to end up… North Of the Lake or East….? Who knows.. Which is better, Up the river or by the Trading Post? If we end up in a spot along the River,,,,,, can you ride from there to a majority of the trials? Or is it better to camp towards the trading post side of the lake? Can you ride on the roads? Any info is much appreciated first time venturing into that neck of the woods……
Not an RZR thing – but check it out
This could be real fun………..
Sunk my rzr and can’t get it to run right
My rzr took a took a ride down the river last night. I have been changing fluids and filters and whatnot. I got the oil almost good but I can’t get this thing to idle very long and can’t give it any gas or it will die. I can feather the gas and it will stay running. What could I be missing?
