Shock Therapy review

As I may have posted before, I call my RZR my "bankruptcy starter kit". I have a lot of money into my 800S and I had it just about where I wanted it with accessories and such. Lately I’ve concentrated on the suspension and getting it where it felt good. Often I ride for long days with our RZR Forums local group and I am always looking to improve the ride. I broke my neck just over a year ago so you can understand why. Anyhow, after our ride in Happy Jack this past weekend I was talking to some of our group about the Shock Therapy semi/trailer that was parked behind the lodge. One of my riding friends knows Ernie from way back and told me to go talk to him. The guys at the Shock Therapy trailer were slammed all last weekend but Ernie took time out to answer my questions. Ernie was cordial and very knowledgeable and looked me in the eye as we spoke. He told me since I was running another manufacturers springs he’d prefer I take my rig into him at their shop so he could make better decisions on valving based on my spring package. He didn’t try to sell me another set of springs.

Tuesday of this week I trailered my RZR to his shop and dropped it off. He said it would take half a day. I called him at the time he told me to and he told me to come pick my RZR up, it would be done by the time I drove out to him (about 50 minute drive). Sure enuf, they were done with my rig and I asked another dozen questions or so before I left. I was finally able to take it out this a.m. Drove Castle Hot Springs road and the river bottoms near Lake Pleasant then I connected with Cow Creek road towards the abandoned airstrip 3 miles north of the lake. I’d already been driving for several hours and had adjusted the shocks a few times but I decided hauling ass across the airfield would be the ultimate test. AZ folks who know the airfield know it’s tore up, lots of ruts and whoop de doos. Now I gotta be me, so I pull off of the graded road at about 35mph and punch it to 40. Rode all the way across the airfield and for the majority of the ride it was surprisingly soft riding. Only hit a couple of bumps that felt like big bumps but never got out of shape or lost traction. With the upgraded spring kit I could never do more than 25mph before getting into a cyclical motion from the whoops.

Ernie told me he’d adjust the settings so the ride was "plush". Nailed it!!!!!! I can’t put into words how happy I am that I made the decision to upgrade my suspension. My little 800S rides like a Cadillac. Ernie, thank you so much for putting up with my myriad of questions. It’s how I tell the poser from the professional. Professional is what I experienced with Shock Therapy. Thanks guys!

My Eval. Racer Tech spring

After installing my dual rate springs from RacerTech on my 2009 800s , i took then to my favorite place in the desert , The Rolls . Had to drive it on the pavement to get there and I was really happy the difference here , the sway was gone for the most part , but the real cool part was when I hit the sand. Was out for 3 hours and never once did it bottom out , all the jarring from rocks etc were gone, my back and neck loved it. And going into the deep curves was great , no bouncing and jarring , just going where I wanted it too. Over the real rocky area’s it held its line totally , important on steep rocky upgrades.
Am I impressed , you bet. This was with the stock Fox shocks and I have to say I do drive that RZR hard.
Oh , I do not have any relationship with RacerTech , matter of fact I am probably towards the top of there pain in the butt customer list.

NEW FIRESTORM Underhood Heater for XP1000 and 900s: Presale Event

Hey RZR XP1000 and 900S guys,

We have completed and installed our new FIRESTORM Underhood Cab Heating system for the XP1000 and 900S. This is a high-end performance unit designed in partnership with EMP and a European heating specialist company.

It comes complete with:

1. Two defrost vents.
2. Two in-cab vents
3. 3-speed fan
4. Kits have ALL necessary hardware including hole saws, hosing, clamps, install brackets, etc.
5. And best of all, the heater core is hidden underneath the hood, so you don’t have to lose any cab space, cut into the glove box, or anything like that.

See our raw video footage of the install and some of the features here:

They will retail for $499.99 with free shipping beginning on August 10. We are starting our official presale for $150 off — so $349.99 with free shipping.

Here are the details if you want one:

PRESALE INFORMATION

1. Please PM me your contact information, OR, call us at 866-527-7637. Note that offices are closed July 3.

2. There are only 90 units available at this price. They will go quickly, so it’s first come first serve.

3. Units will ship on or before August 10. Presale ends as soon as heaters are shipping.

So this guy ripped us off today

The three Hispanic guys in the images above came into our shop today and purchased a full build for a 2015 white rzr 4 1000. They called looking for a bunch of parts a week before and I told them that we had them in stock and that he could come down and walk out with them. He then replied with "I will be down in the next couple of days and asked me to hold them for him.

So a week later he came in and looked around and picked out some stuff. Like a roll cage, doors, wheels and tires, lights, etc. etc. We processed his credit card for almost $9000.00 after we verified his I.D. And everything looked legit, so I ran with it. We then loaded his stuff and he took off. Well about a week later we noticed the bank had a charge back for several thousand dollars. So we investigate it and the address they used is non existent and the phone # he gave me was bad as well. It looked fraudulent, but the bank is telling us that he is saying he never received his product. But I helped him load all of it and walked out with it. We have him on video in the store and in our neighbors store trying to buy more stuff from them. So if you know them or they try coming into your shop to buy some stuff call the cops and stall them. Or call us and we would gladly show up.[emoji6]909-626-8899
