We are checking into Three Rivers Resort this Friday to ride Taylor Park. I was wondering if anyone else has stayed there. I was kind of curious how close it is to the trails and if it is convenient to everything. Opinions and tips for staying there appreciated. I’ll be pulling a 20ft trailer with our two rzrs.
I’m looking to buy my first RZR. I am going to get a 50". I had use of a 2008 800 last week, and had no complaints about it. I’m trying to decide if I want to buy a used one or get a new 570, or 900. I don’t care about speed, but the 900 has some nice features that the 570 doesn’t, if I go new.
Spend less and get a used one, or go ahead and get a new right off the bat?
I hate to stick the OHV stickers on the machine so I came up with this for a 570 RZR. The screw heads are under the sticker to hopefully prevent anyone from taking it off. I was curious what everyone thought.
I am new to the SxS world, have yrs of experience on atvs. I have been looking at both brands closely. As i have 2 dealers here in West TN, one sales 4 brands Can Am, Polaris, Kawa, Arctic Cat. The other is the good boys of Abernathy, one of the largest by volume dealers for Polaris in the country. I am torn between the XP1K, High Lifter, Can Am Turbo or XRS. What are true opinions on both brands. Also, all i hear is polris tear up easier than Can Am, burn oil all the time, squeak rattle and so on. So do Polaris burn oil? I dont lock the QE visco on Can Am, but can get halo lockers for it. Plus i read the Maverick cockpit gets hot and is noisy due to engine placement.so help me out guys. I can get the XP1K cheaper but need some add ons. Is the HLE worth it for normal trail riding? Have read you cannot get the ext warranty on the HL either. Any truth? I like the Can Am cockpit better, but need room. I am 6’4" and 300+. I have test drove both brands as well. Just trying to break it down to best model for trail riding here in Tennessee. Have seen where the turbo can mess up if it gets water in housing. Ready and go with all opinions amd please be respectful. I like both brands, just want the best all around.
I live in Arkansas, and just purchased a nice used RZR 800. I would like to trailer it to somewhere in Colorado and spend a few days (legally) riding easy trails and/or old mining roads. Exploring an old ghost town or mine would be an added bonus. Question: where can I legally ride? What trails and / or roads can I legally ride? What permits (or other) is required?
Ideally, I would like to rent a nice furnished cabin with easy trails near by. Any recommendations?
Also, about 10 years ago, I rented a jeep in Ouray, and we explored old mining roads around the Silverton area… loved it. Now I would like to do the same with my Polaris RZR. Can I legally ride these same mining roads?
2012 RZR-S 800: I sealed the clutch back cover, snorkeled it, ran 4 vent lines (front & rear diff., transfer case/transmission, and fuel tank) up high.
It has worked great going deep – a little more than belly button deep.
Changed all oils as was sick to see the milky white with just a tint of blue oil flow out of the "fill" plug on the transmission side. I pulled the fill plug before pulling the bottom drain.
Filled it, ran it a little, and changed again.
I can lightly blow on its vent line and their is no leak in the newly run vent line.
Where is the water getting in??
Did I miss a vent line? Is there one for the transfer case and one for the transmission?

I’m working on pulling my motor out of my 2010 800. (Spun a crank bearing). Does anyone know if the tranny has to come out with the motor. Hopeing not!
