Looking for some input!
Here are the details on it, 2013 900 XP, 1500 miles, 130 hours, full doors, aftermarket roll cage, bead locks with ITP tires, Poly belly skid plate. Front Bumper, and rear bumper not pictured. He is asking 12,800.
It has been trail ridden in Michigan most of its life from what I am being told, so it was missing some key things for what I am going to use it for such as;
A-arm sliders
Trailing arms sliders
Power Steering
Windshield
Light Bar
Plow
Upon my first inspection I went straight to the Air filter, it appeared to be clean and in good shape, it had been changed to the UNI Foam filter and it had a nice layer of grease around the inside to help keep the dust out of the motor so that made feel pretty good about the way it had been maintained. I did notice that when I drove it that the steering wheel shook a lot when I got above 45MPH, is that normal for this type of machine? I figure it needs to have its wheels balanced, but wasn’t sure if there may be something else that may cause this. It will need new brakes at some point as they are the original pads, so there goes 200$. It had the belt changed at about 1100 miles but I will probably change it anyway so that I have a good starting point. What else should I look at when I go back to today?
Also what is a extended transferable warranty worth that last till 2018?

900 rzr or 1000 rzr
I have driven both not hard just enough to know once she gets enlightened, I will be able to reduce the stable. So I’m looking for feedback on this train of thought. It will be mostly hers, but the boy and I will play once and a while.
We ride mostly the dunes at Waynoka and trails with sand and dirt. It will probably be babied most of its life. The other thing is nothing I own ever stays stock.
So I have been looking at hp between the two and pricing. It appears that I can get a good clean used 900 with general mods done, faiarly reasonable. And for around $1800 get the 900 close to the same hp as the 1000 and be fairly reliable. If we decide it needs more power.
Am I way off track with this train of thought?
XP1000 Shuts off right after start up??
My first thought was bad gas since it never happened before and I just topped off the tank with 2 gallons of gas when I stopped for lunch. It was premium no ethanol, but probably low in the tank as the tanker was filling the ground tanks when we came out from eating lunch.
Once it stayed running it ran fine at all RPM’s and stayed idling also. Ran it the 35 miles home, shut it down, tried to fire it back up after a few minutes and it happened again, 3 times, then stayed running.
This was the last trip of that weekend and we went home early, didnt want to risk breaking down on the trail.
One we got home I pumped out as much of that fuel as I possibly could and added fresh gas. Everything was fine, ran good, started good, stayed running, etc…. Until today when I went to change the oil and the problem started again, did it 3 times. No codes showing. Like I said its just like someone shuts the key off. Plugs are good, air filter is clean. Batteries are fully charged. Charging at 14v while running. Battery tender when in garage.
Does anyone have any ideas??

I had to have some warrenty issues fixed I called to set up atime told the service manger what was wrong he told me to call
a couple days before I came to make sure parts was in.
Showed up on time 2 hrs.later lm fixed an out the door.In this day of bring it in and we’ll look at and then order parts or leave it for 2 to 4 weeks, to me this is going above and beyond ,I just want to say thanks it saved me 4 hrs of driving.:clap:
