There is an AZOP race in the Cinders next weekend. Since we have at least 10 of our customers in the race we decided to head up there and do some testing to get a set up for them. If you are from another state or country, the Cinders is an area called "Sunset Crater" in Flagstaff Arizona, 2.5 hours north of us in Phoenix. It is an extinct volcano and you can pretty much drive anywhere you like through the forest on volcanic gravel and mountains. It is loaded with whoops from 1-2 ft high that never quit. Perfect torture test for our suspension systems. Its long so here is an outline for the good parts:
Dicing on the trails 0-8:00
Amazing view top of the crater 8:00-8:35
Drive down into a crater 8:45-10:30
Great view driving down the outside of the crater 10:40-11:30
Dicing on trails and roads again 12:00 to the end.

We are looking to camp with a 40′ motor home and our 4 seater RZR. We have been told that Glass Creek Campground is a good spot but to me it looks to be quite far from the town of Mammoth?
Anyone here familiar with camping and riding there?
We are looking for trails with lots of creeks and shade to check out? Are there other areas where we can camp with RZR friendly trails closer to the town of Mammoth?
I am looking for a kit to widen the track on a XP 1000. Does anyone know the different makes and types? Any suggestions as to the brand and type of kit is welcomed.
I have not talk to the dealer yet,but he left a message on phone saying my motor broke a rod and tore up the block . There was about a cup full of water in with oil so he was pretty sure it would not be covered under warranty by Polaris. My question ,is it better to try and rebuild the motor or buy a crate motor? Only 300 miles on motor. Bummer.
I just got my rotopax mounted up, getting ready for Taylor Park. I used some counter-sunk bolts in an aluminum plate mounted to the cargo box, then bolted the pack mount to that. It turned out very sturdy. I realized when I was counter sinking that plate that I really need to find a drill press…Attachment 140674Attachment 140675
