Brother in Law Switch

I’m installing harnesses in my xp 4. I know the speed is limited to 15 mph when the driver side seatbelt is not clicked in. I was thinking…. What if i installed a switch in place of the bypass plug? It would be used as an idiot switch. Keep the speed limited for the guests that are surely going to want to drive it.

Has anyone done this?
Is there a better option than this?
Is it a bad idea to run it for extended periods of time in the no seatbelt mode?

I searched the forums, got nothing.

Thoughts?

Thanks!!

New Mongrels from UTV Inc.

Got a call this morning from UTV Inc , my new Mongrel tires were there , Ran the old tires over there around 11 am , new ones were back in my garage around 3:30 , mounted and ready to go , how cool is that Cannot wait to try them out. And the folks behind the counter there are great , glad I live close by.

Do manufatures ever try stuff for fit

In the last week I have installed some metal A arm guards , front and rear and a metal gas tank protector. It was amazing how crappy they fit , had to drill holes for both the rear A arms and the tank protector and the rear A arm guards were a bit to wide and were squished when I tighten them up. Maybe the fit has changed over the years but if so the manufacturer should keep up an this

Wheel Bearing Drops In ????

Was changing the front wheel bearing in my 2011 RZR 800 S last night. Pressed the old bearing out. New bearing dropped in without the use of tools. Has anyone else experienced this or heard of this?

The bearing was ordered on ebay. Is supposed to be All Balls brand but did not come in the manufacturer packaging. Seller is telling me that Polaris changed things in the later models and some of the bearings will just drop in and that is why the Loctite is recommended.

Did a search here but did not find any issues with the newer than 2009 models.

What your opinion?

Thanks as always guys.
