I am in a little predicament, should I get heretic headlights or a light bar? I have a 30" on my XP 900 that I like but I am worried my XP1k 4 is gonna be to tall to fit in my cargo trail if I put a light bar on it. It already is a tight fit without it, so I figured a good option would be the heretic headlights. They look sweet and the videos on YouTube make them seem pretty good. What are all your opinions on them? I don’t do a ton of night riding, mostly just riding back from the drags or Duner’s diner or the ocassional breakdown that drags on into the night. The biggest thing is how do they do by themselves if I do decide to dune at night? The 1000 is technically the wife’s car and she wants them but just wanted to get some opinions before I buy them. Thanks!

Just installed this kit, Polaris part number 2877390 into my S. Ordered it from Amazon Prime and it arrived on time and at about the same price as from Polaris.
Very high quality part. Installation was straightforward and according to the instructions supplied. Works very well, easily sliding the seat all the way back and forward like you would your old fashioned car seats (OK, not so old fashioned but getting that way!).
One annoyance: the seat now sits up about 2" higher than it did before. I only ordered one of these neglecting to realize this would happen so I’m thinking I might need another one to keep the world from looking too funny.
Overall, though, I think I’m happy. In my previous RZR I was swapping the passenger/driver seats so my wife could reach the peddles so this is definitely an improvement.

I saw this on Facebook earlier and was curious, has anyone seen this system? Thoughts on it? It’s not available yet from the look of things, but they make some bold claims like up to 15x longer filter life and 94% of dust removed….. I thought it was kind of interesting. Attachment 142696
Ok I know this is not RZR specific but not sure where to post it and wanted a little feedback. My son is almost 5. He’s getting big for average 5 year old. I was 4 and people thought I was 7-8 and I was riding a Suzuki DS80 at 6-7 and outgrew that little over a year and needed a 125. My son has been wanting a ATV. I went and looked at the polaris outlaw 50, and the outlaw 110. The 50 was around $2k and the 110 was around $2800. The 110 has EFI, push button start and reverse (as well as throttle limiter on both). I have been told by several people to get the 110 and throttle it down till he’s ready and just let him get comfortable with it in the backyard etc…
I called a store today explained and asked opinions on the model differences. Was told after being asked his age and explaining to them he’s growing quick and my history of riding and outgrowing, that I would not be able to buy either one. 50 needs to be 6+ and 110 is 10+. I said ok I’ll just be in there to pick it up for myself. He stated he cannot do that. I understand these can be dangerous just like anything else can be. I also understand they are just covering their butts. But is this really a thing. He stated I would need to bring in his birth cert upon purchase etc…
I was also trying the idea of getting him a 50cc dirt bike but he’s still torn on the ATV idea. What would you guys do.
Hey guys, I’ve got a problem and could use a little help. A month ago I cracked a stock rim and didn’t think much of it. I ordered an oem wheel and the same size bighorn tire. I put the new wheel and tire on and took it for a spin. Within two miles the rzr wheel got cracked again. Badly. I took it off and I can see where the wheel had been rubbing against the brakes. I can see the groves in the wheel and can see where it was rubbing and ultimately must have got stuck and then caused the wheel to crack. Has anyone experienced this before? Nothing looks bent or damaged other than the brakes and of course the wheel. I would appreciate and insight you guys might have.
