I bought a RZR off an individual a few years back , he was suppose to give me the MSO on the vehicle . Long story short , I dont have it ,I live no where close to this guy now and dont even know how to contact him. I know where the vehcile was purchased but they have closed down. I am wanting to trade it in on a new ride but no one will fool with me without a bill of sale or MSO. In ky where I live we are not required to register the vehicle so there is no real need for a title. Does anybody know how I can get a copy of the MSO or even get a new one put in my name ? I have contacted the local clerks office and the vehicle has never been registered in this state so I dont know the next step to take toward getting a copy of the bill of sales or a MSO . Any suggestions are greatly appreciated .
I’m a newbie to this stuff and I was thinking about buying my first side by side this weekend. I drove over to Bert’s with full intentions of buying till I noticed the $2000 prep fee AND $2000 destination charge. Am I crazy or is that outrageous! Even if I can afford it, I cannot imagine paying these ridiculous fees. Please let me know if I should expect these everywhere. I’m looking to buy a 1000 4 seater.
Has anyone encountered an issue when pressing the accelerator and your Razor thinks your putting to to the floor, it accelerates like you are putting the pedal to the floor, there is no easing into it. When in Park and Neutral it revs no problem, when i put into gear and gently hit the gas its full throttle. 2014 xp1000. Any help would be appreciated.
I’m trying to change the belt on my 2011 RZR 4 800. Getting the belt down into the driven sheave is a pain and I’m afraid I’m going to tear up the new belt installing it.
In looking at some youtube videos it looks like some models have a way to use a clutch wrench to loosen the driven clutch to make installation easier. Is there not a way to do that on a 2011? And if not, is there a magic trick to making belt changing easier?
I’ve attached a picture of the drive / driven clutch so you can see how mine looks. I think I have a rapid reaction secondary that doesn’t let me loosen it and have to use brute force.
I’ve read through many of the other posts about fire extinguishers and seems everyone has a different approach. I’m looking to save my/passenger lives in case of fire. I have been eyeing 2x of the assault fire mounts w/kiddie extinguisher. Was going to mount on either side of the rear cage. However, I’m using 5 point harnesses and do not think I can reach the rear ones. I do not have a specific budget as I feel this is an important safety issue.
What setup could I use to react to a fire while still being strapped in?
I would like to thank the Alba racing team for the work they did rebuilding my 08 800 rzr. They rebuilt the top end and did some alinement work for me. My 800 is now running like a new machine. Thank you to all the team for your good work. I am enjoying the riding in Az. Now that the rain has stopped.
Does anyone know how to remove the center box from a 2015 XP 1000?
I just bought the radio and intercom from Rugged Radios and need to remove that center box. I thought it would be easy, but when I looked last night, I can’t see any of the screws or attachment points under the dash. Do I need to cut any of the plastic.
OK here is what I am asking. Not sure if it should be on a poll or just this thread. I am not a fan of the plastic fuel tank on my xp1000. I have contacted and talked with Boyd LLC fabrication who manufactures aftermarket and custom fuel tanks. I had rather lengthy conversation on the possibility of making a aluminum tank for the xp1000. Now I am not sure what tank the 4 seat has in it. Are they the same? If not they could also do one for that car. So here is my question. Would anybody be interested in a possible purchase of a tank like this? It could made with a upside down valve to the fuel fill also. Price will be determined after They get the mockup done. For now lets put price aside and just give input if you think you would consider changing tanks. I would need to locate a salvage xp1000 fuel tank and ship it to them along with a cardboard layout for the tank. The prices on their website seem very reasonable and that’s why I called them. So any input?
