2012 front diff

Hello,
I recently disassembled My front diff on my 2012 900 rzr
To replace a bearing and after putting it back together it seems to keep going to AWD even when the plug is unplugged , I’m having a hard time remembering how the black plastic ring goes back in , it had a metal ring that that goes in a grove on it and I’m not sure if the ring hooks the little pin or just goes up to it.
Sorry if this is a very good description but I’m trying my best.
Thanks

Anyone make a steering tie rod?

So my buddies girlfriend made a mess of my front end and I was wondering if anyone new of someone that makes an aftermarket steering tie rod. I called fixmytoys, and they said polaris only sells the complete gear box. Don’t really want to spend $350 on a whole new unit. Do you think it would be ok to try and bend back the damaged one? Trying to keep the cost down. I have to replace the brake line, the lower ball joint, axle and steering tie rod. Adding up fast!! Once it get all that fixed I still may have to replace the a arm. Hard to tell at this point if those are bent or not. Also, would it be ok to go with an aftermarket axle and leave the passenger side stock? I’m not sure how I want to proceed at this point. Any help would be appreciated.

Paiute Trail Questions

I’ll be riding some sections of the Paiute Trail with some ATV friends next week. Since they are 50" legal and I am not, I have a few questions as I look at the Nat Geo map from ATV Utah.

1. Fillmore to Copley’s Cove via Trail 3. There is a Y in the trail (3 & 7), but it appears that both options are 50" limited. Is there an alternate trail that would accommodate my XP width?

2. Silver King Mine to Grizzly Ridges via Trail 1. Closer to Grizzly, the trail splits to 1 & 26. 26 is marked 50" only and the corresponding segment of trail 1 is marked 60" only. Is there an alternate route for 64"?

Thanks in advance for your help. Looking forward to some western riding.

Matt
