Michigan ORV Riders, We need your help!

A new Michigan law was passed on August 24th, 2015 that bans Side by Sides from being made street legal. There is a petition you can sign at the link below to send a message to our State Representative to put the pressure on them to repeal this unfair law that was approved via the "back door" without any of us voting.

PLEASE see the link for the full story and SIGN THE PETITION.

Thank you and ride safe!

Can it be done.?

OK here’s the back story. Out on run this past weekend. Ripped up front tire on 2015 900 Trail. I didn’t have spare ,but used up 10 plugs and limped it back to base camp. I find out this guy has 4 wheels and tires he had from 2013-2014 ? RZR 800 and he’s asking $120 for all 4 !!!!!! The next day I look him up and the tires are great at least 3/4 tread and mounted on nice looking rims. I checked out the bolt pattern on my 2015 /900 trail before I left to go and look at or buy the used ones., and checked the spacing on the used ones ,every thing good. So I buy them. Only to find out when I go to mount the used rims that the stud DIA. on my 2015 is, I believe to be 12MM and I am learning the stud dia from the older 800 is 3/8" :rollfinger: So my question to everyone is this. Is it possible to drill out the used rim stud holes from (3/8"..375") to accommodate the 12mm (.472") dia studs.

Full windshield…..dust and debris swirling in cab

Installed a full windshield and now I’m getting lots of dust and debris in the cabin. Do not have this problem with the half windshield. Note, I have the Polaris back panel window installed behind the seats….thought that would cut down the dust from getting into the cabin. Works great with the half windshield but is awful with the full windshield…..anyone had this problem?

Helmet law for dirt bikes?

I own a Polaris side by side and I understand the law says I need to wear a helmet since 2010. But what about a dirt bike on forest service roads and trails? I need clarification please what exactly does the law say? Dirt bike do we need helmets by law on forest service roads or trails?

Yeti Hopper and Cargo Box

I have a new 900 Trail and I’ve been looking at cargo boxes and coolers. I’m posting the following info in case anyone else is looking for a similar solution.

I finally settled on the Polaris Lock & Ride Cargo box, item 2881193.

It is smaller in width than the Lock & Ride Cooler/Cargo box, item 2881556, and $150 cheaper. My goal was to have a separate cooler for a number of reasons. I used the $150 in savings (at least that’s the logic I used with my wife) to buy a Yeti Hopper 20.

The Yeti Hopper 20 fits perfectly beside the Lock & Ride 2881193, but would not fit with a wider cargo box.

Here are a couple of pics. I included one to show the clearance from the rear hinges to the roll cage. It is exactly 3" and when opening the lid, the top hinge reduces that by a 1/4".
