Help with Red Feather Lakes Riding in CO

Hey guys and gals,

I am going to Red Feather Lakes tomorrow with my wife and the dogs to do some camping and riding throughout there (maybe a little scouting for hunting too )

I have some questions. I’m thinking about heading to deadmans pass and the going onto 319 to find some "dispersed camping".

Here is my issue. I have a 20ft enclosed trailer but do not want to be in a rv campground. Would I be able to push down 319 with it and find a spot?

I am new to Colorado and was wondering if in that area I can open carry my handgun loaded on my side on the RZR while riding.

and finally, does anyone have any suggestions of where else I can go in that area that would be better?

I’m in Fort Collins and don’t want to go further that an hour away

Thanks!

Loose bolt

Just bought a 2016 xp 1000, not even a mile on it. Took the factory skid plates off to put factory utv ones on and found this laying on the skid plate. Just trying to find out if anyone might know where it goes, so I can check to see if it was replaced.

Worth it

So recently a dealership near me got a 2014 rzr 800 xc. Its all stock and has front and rear windshield along with a winch and various cargo accessories, other then that its all stock. This thing has 2600 miles on it and they are asking 10k for it. Is that a good deal? Not sure on the service history but the previous owner just road trails with it and only reason for trading it in was they wanted a more utility type vehicle. I know it recently had all the control arm bushings and suspension components replaced by the dealership they traded it in too. Is this a good deal, and is the mileage a problem?
