What was love now turning to hate

I sold my quads and bought my rzr xp4 1000 on may 5th in St George
Salesman was great couldn’t wait to go ride.Took it out for a ride and the clamp holding the exhaust heat shield broke so it rattled, machine had 13 miles on it. Called the dealer they said no problem bring it in whenever the service was closed that day no hurry and we will get it handled( I live 2 hours away). I continued riding it thru the summer having a great time with the family. I had the front diff rattle, fixed it myself no biggie. During my trips I noticed the trans output shaft to front diff leaks and l/f shock has only 10 clicks instead of 15. Still enjoying my rzr no problem. I drop it off at the dealer Sept 8th to get it repaired since I had some downtime between trips. This is where it all goes south as I have read so many times. Drop it off and get told it will take about a week, I’m like ok no problem, a week goes by… I call them and get told trans was split and resealed and output shaft seal replaced( funny because the case halves weren’t leaking but I hear it is a gravy job), and they are waiting to hear from Polaris on the exhaust shield and shock. another week goes by still nothing waiting on Polaris I’m told. I call again last week they say I can pick it up and use it while waiting on Polaris, so I go out this weekend. I don’t make it 30 miles and the belt grenades, I put a new belt on and in 7 miles it’s missing teeth. I also notice that the output shaft seal is leaking worse than when I dropped it off.I also find the airbox plenum is loose and the belt is hitting the clutch cover which is whats cutting teeth.So I call Polaris today and they say the exhaust was approved on the 22nd and the shock is normal????? I ask how 8 other buddies all have 15 clicks but one of mine has 10 and its normal??? I am waiting on a resoloution specialist at this time. I called the dealer this morning to tell them of there subpar work and asked about my exhaust and shock, which I already knew the exaust was approved last Tuesday, they said they would look into to see if it was approved. How can a manufacturer and a dealer be this bad??????

Like the title said I was loving my machine now it is turning into a nightmare that’s going to run out of warranty before I can get it back fixed.

Tow hook?

Thanks for helping me out with all these newbe silly questions. I am sure that new guys like me all post a lot then die out.

I was surprised to find out that my new RZR does not have a tow hook on the front.
What do you attach your tow rope too when you get stuck?
Also what do you secure your tie down straps to in the front?

awd oroblems

so i took my front diff apart figuring i would see a broken roller cage but the previous owner already put an aluminum one in. does anyone else have any ideas why it would be stuck in awd besides the cage? fluid was a little milky when i drained it and axles were suck in the diff dont know if that has anything to do with it and also the armature has two wear rings on it.

’15 RZR 570 w/ nasty caliper sound???

Ok I’ve got a ’15 RZR 570 with just under 500 miles on it. This weekend I started hearing a nasty metal rattle noise coming from the left rear wheel area. Thought it was driveline issues. But, as I drove down hill (slow or high speed), in neutral, engine off… I would hear a very inconsistent noise…when I just applied a little pressure to the brakes, the noise goes away. When I let off the brake pedal, the noise came back. Got back to camp took the wheel off and looked at the caliper. It seemed like the caliper mount bolt was a little loose? Gave it a turn or two to snug up the fit, but loose enough for the disc to spin freely. Thought it was fixed, but next day it came back, but not as bad. Is there anybody out there with similar issues? Or is this something Polaris should look at before warranty runs out?

Been searching for 2 weeks and can’t find the answer, Does anyone know if a trail blazer 500 primary clutch outer cap (screws onto the sheave) will fit a rzr 800 clutch? My cap is cracked and I’d rather not have to spend $500 on a new clutch at this time. I know that they are balanced on the sheave side with cap installed but I just want something safer than a cracked one until I can buy a new clutch. The one I’m looking to buy on ebay looks identical but I cant tell if there’s a size difference. Thanks.
