Congrats on a Race Win

We would like to congratulate Paul Champion on his race win at the S.A.D.R. Point to Point 250 in Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point) Mexico last weekend! 250 miles of rough terrain, Cholla cactus fields and 2-3 foot sandy whoops that go to the horizon. Since we were tied up last weekend, Paul took our XP 1000 test car (it gets abused every day buy us) and ran south to enter the race. He won the UTV class by an 1 hour and 15 minutes over second place and finished 7th overall with only class 1 and class 10 cars ahead of him. This car has a bone stock engine with a re-flash and our Stage 4 RIS suspension kit installed only. Good job Paul. Maybe next time we can drive!

Here are some pics next the gulf waters and a video of him taken from his crew on a smooth section next to the highway. 8600 RPM at 78mph. Listen to this thing singing.

St George; Where to Buy Steel?

I’m looking at a couple small projects for the RZR so I was wondering if you St George guys could recommend a place to buy steel. I don’t need much. I just want 4′ of 1" square tubing and maybe another 4′ of 1.5"x1/4" flat. Please don’t say Ace or True Value. Wow, is their steel is expensive.

Clutch set an 2 belts for sale

I have a 2015 900s that i am changing over to a duraclutch set up , rzr has 750 miles on it , anyone interested in my clutch set i am taking off ? I also have the poloris belt that has 700 miles on it , still good , an a gates belt with 50 miles on it , sell it all at a good price

on board air

what is everybody using for on board air and do you just use a compressor or do you have a small tank as well. would love to see pics of your setup’s as i’m wanting to get one put together in my car

I am confused

Ok. Polaris is an American Company? Am I wrong? My identification label on my 900 says Made in Mexico. I cylinder head says Made in Mexico . I am rebuilding my main gearcase and there is only one bearing that is made in Japan and the rest are made in CHINA. I am also replacing gears and shafts which are all made in CHINA but in spelling out CHINA on the packaging they only print out Country of Origin : CN . Does that stand for Cincinnati ,United States. The only Country I know that would come close to the CN spelling is China. Why don’t they abbreviate Mexico as MX. Doesn’t country of origin mean that it was made there? The big question, why does Polaris tell you to use AGL FULLY SYNTHETIC OIL in the gearcase and transmission when Polaris uses a low quality parts supplier? Do they expect the fully synthetic lubricant to make the parts last longer. You know when your main gearcase blows and they can tell that you used another type of fluid they will not warranty the damage. How much do you think the Chinese actually care about their quality control. Do you see cars MADE in China in the United States. They were going to sell them but the quality sucked. I deal with companies that have their plastic parts made in China because it is less expensive to make there, so when there is a problem with fit they blame it on the parts that I would make . It is less expensive for the company to accuse the company in US than to send it back to China. They make the parts in China and Mexico . Assemble them in Mexico because it would probably be to expensive to make them completely in China and ship them to the US. They probably assemble a couple in the US to say that they are made in the good old U.S.A. I wonder if any of the YAMAHA parts are made in China. If I buy one in the future I will find out. I will get into the American companies that ship the China made parts to you UPS without any packaging later. I am going to wait and see how my issue pans out . Sorry for the long rant.

Front trx450 shock settings

Need a little help. did the front trx450 shock upgrade and rear ltz shock upgrade. i’ve ridden my 800 a couple of times since. i removed both front and rear sways. i have a 2" front lift. it rides good over terrain but if theres a dip or a rut something the front takes a huge hit. almost like a slam. im assuming thats bottoming out?
last weeked i hit a groove or whatever you want to call it across the trail and it slammed again in the front..the roof of my rzr popped off and slid across my hood…there goes my light bar and antennae wiring..easy fix though.
whats happening here?my buddy said his stock 800 shocks didnt bottom out one time and i was following him. my stance is even taller.
there are two adjustments flathead screws. one on top and one on bottom. could the shocks just be old and worn out? HELP!
