For those who might not be aware or have read my Baja trip story. I found Adventure Pockets who makes the MotoPocket storage bags for touring & adventure motorcycling. I bought a few Side Case storage bags for my doors and they worked awesome! After reading my Baja trip story several others have also bought Motopockets, and they all seemed to be very happy with them.
Since my trip I have spoke with the owner of MotoPockets as I had some ideas for a better storage bag for the off-road world. The owner is very enthusiastic about learning and making a better bag for the UTV and off- road community.
What I found was it would be great if there was a quick access pocket where you could keep things like your phone, sunglasses, handheld radio or a rag to wipe your goggles. These were items I found I wanted to grab quick or while on the move. So here is the first prototype of the "Baja Pocket" with an exterior mesh pocket. This one was sewn with 3 pockets. I think 3 separate pockets will be to small for some items and maybe 2 pockets with an elastic band along the top to insure items could not bounce out would be better.
The original Side Case Pocket unzipped along the top and down one side. That worked for the bike guys, but was not ideal for us. It allowed easy access, but if unzipped all the way down items could fall out. The redesigned zipper opens down each side about 2 inches, giving easy access, yet does not allow items to come out of the bag. Also each bag would have two zippers, so you could open just a little or all the way.
I have found the canvas to be water resistant and depending on cost, a water proof zipper could be added. The idea is to make a great affordable storage bag, that because of the Velcro can be mounted anywhere (No straps or Zip Ties) is quick to access and quick to remove, and take with you or mount in another vehicle quickly.
So check out these pictures of the Prototype "Baja Pocket" and share your opinions or ideas. Would a bag like this be of interest to you?
well guys just installed new rack n pinion on my 2010 rzr. my issue is getting my steering wheel/steering box back to center with the same amount of rotation to the right and left so I get same amount of "turn/angle" each direction. (I do know steering wheel comes off n can move) when I turn left I can make a pretty sharp circle no problem, when turn to right its a lot bigger and not sharp at all. Since replacing steering box n re-adjusting tie rods. I did the string alignment method to get everything back straight on the front end. Also is there a way to tell alignment of steering wheel Vs where steering shaft slides on box? Hoping someone can help me out that’s done this before or had to realign front end. hoping this is something stupid or small im missing. thanks in advance.
I’ll soon be getting ready for the colder weather and re- installing the upper doors on my 900 Trail. Here’s the problem, I have Seizmik Pursuit mirrors(which I love)on the a-pillars and the doors will not close with the mirrors on. So I need to relocate the mirrors, anyone in this same boat? Any suggestions?

I’m considering purchasing a split/folding windshield for my 2013 RZR S. I prefer riding without one but the wind drives the wife nuts, and we all know that if Momma ain’t happy no one is happy! Too I sure it would be great during the winter or when it rains.
I have an Isota Aluminum roof and it is a tight fit at the front so I need one that fits close to the roll cage. I prefer be easy to remove the upper section and since I ride a lot on the farm it need to be fairly scratch resistant(low hanging tree limbs). Above all it needs to be able to hold up to my towing style, withstand 75-85 MPH interstate speeds. IF it is a folding windshield I want the upper to rest against the lower and not on the hood.
I looked at the Double Ott and like the idea you can store the upper in the back of the roll cage but I know nothing else about them. Any references? What other windshields can anyone recommend?

I am looking at purchasing the ORB Radius Rods and Control Arms. Looking for feedback from those of you that already have these items. Positive and any potential negative issues. Thanks!
