I have a set of Bighorns on my Yamaha cut the side wall on the rear tire tried a tube but only lasted 2 days before going flat again. There is about 12 inch of tread left on them. If I order one new tire the new tread will be lot deeper then the one on the other side. Worried that the size difference might cause damage to the rear end. The question is should I replace both rear tires or can I get away with replacing just the destroyed one.
Thanks, Bob
Been a life long dream of mine to have a 4×4 and so now I’ve finally decided to put out the money to make it happen. My budget’s 2,000 – 2,500 so obviously I’m looking for something used, and I’m writing in to ask you guys what I should be looking for a what I should avoid.
I’ll be using it mostly for just moderate trail riding and camping so it doesn’t have to be a monster machine. Requirements are that it have a lot of potential rack space, automatic and be fully 4×4. So far after looking at a lot of offers I seem to be settling on some of the 2005-2007 Polaris Sportsman models. They seem to have some flexibility as to what type of components you can add on…racks, gun racks, etc.
I’m fairly mechanically inclined and could probably do any maintenance or part upgrade outside of getting too deep into the motor.
So what are some of the models I should be looking out for? And are there any I should be avoiding?
Also, so far craig’s list has been my only source to find sellers. Any other suggestions for where to look for leads?

Looking at a SXS and thinking about a CF Moto 800 53". I know a few guys that have them. Certainly a great price and warranty !! Nothing Yamaha makes appeals to me. Any one have any experience with them ??? Still gotta keep the Grizzly, don’t want to part with my Yammie.

My wife by mistake left her key on her 2014 grizzly 550 and I went to charge it with my charger. The charger has a crank engine option so I did that. Light on the dash came on so I went to push the button. Then the bike made a quite noise toward the back of it. Now no lights come on. I checked the fuses by the battery and they all check out. Any ideas?
Guys and Girls, I just saw it on the news here in Australia, the devastation happening in Texas. My thoughts go out to all those affected by this event. May your loved ones be safe and find their way home.
