Kimpex Dry Ride 2.0, is it really waterproof?

So I wrecked my Crappy Tire North Liberty box doing wheelies and need to replace it this week. I am settled on either the Kimpex Outback at $232 or the Kimpex Dry Ride 2.0 at $375. The only reason I am considering the Dry Ride at that price is because they claim it is waterproof which is a big deal to me. I don’t expect it to keep out water when submerged or anything but I am just hoping that if it rains or I’m riding through water or hosing it off after a ride that it won’t get soaked inside. Since the Outback has similar capacities and dimensions I don’t want to shell out an extra $140 for something that is still going to get my stuff wet.

If anyone has any first hand experience with this box and can shed some light on how they are sealed and if they really work, that would be great. I already know that the Kimpex latches are garbage and have a heavy duty set waiting to go on whatever I buy.

Grizzly pulls to left

Hi guys, my grizzly is pulling to the left…its definitely not a tire, brake or bearing problem. Even when stopped it just wants to go straight to the left right away….I let go of handle bars and its gone to left….thinking power steering….any info would be appreciated.

Broke my F@cki$g ankle !!

Broke my ankle last night. Wish I could blame it on rough sex, a skydiving accident, running after ISIS fighters, or something else that would make a cool story. Unfortunately, I broke it walking !

Just walking across our front pasture and BAM ! Like a grenade went off in my foot. Looked down and bottom of foot was pointing 90 degrees in towards my other foot. Terrible pain and swelled to softball size in under 30 seconds.

Nobody can hear me screaming for help but my horses. Manage to stand, then grab my horses mane, and she walks with me, supporting me, all the way to the fence, where people CAN hear me screaming.

Go to ER and told fractured fibula, and torn medial and posterior ligaments.

Have to wait for swelling to go down before it can be cast. Put me on Vicodine. Goes well with Jack

Lesson learned. Dont WALK anywhere the Grizzly and take you…

(And flip-flops are bad choices at my age)…

Deepest you’ve gone?

On my grizz I haven’t really gone over the tires in water yet because I noticed the clutch breather comes out pretty low? What’s the deepest you’ve gone on a stock 660? I do not want to snorkel it either I am not worried about the air intake because its under the seat just don’t want to get a wet belt or anything or snuff out ?
