Hello,
I have recently bought a 2000 Yamaha Kodiak 400 from a family member to fix up. I noticed there was no oil on the dipstick so I added a quart. I then noticed oil spilling all over the floor. Upon further inspection, I realized a part was missing and allowing the oil to drain out. I have combed the web and this forum looking for what the part might be, but with no luck. Below is a pic from a service manual, but the manual doesn’t list the part. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
-I apologize, this is the wrong thread. I will repost in another.
So, about 3-4 weeks about I bought a 2004 Grizz with 97hrs on it. The owner signed off on the title and gave me a bill of sale. But my question is…Where do I take the title to get the Grizz in my name? BMV? Anyone from Indiana have any idea?

When I lived in the subdivision, I always wanted to build a obstacle course for riding my Grizzly. This need was heightened after riding with NCMudman several years ago at Brimstone and watching his balance, muscle memory and reflexs.
I thought to myself, I need a training course. Living in the subdivision, and subdivision rules kinda kept me from doing this years ago. BUT, now that I live on the farm and the only rules are what my wife might say, I am thinking about building a course.
My time spent riding the Grizzly on the farm pond banks before I left for out west was aprreciated at 13000 feet when in Coloroda. I had a good sense of what the tipping point was, and I was not there yet, just a couple thousand feet down if I got it wrong.
So wondering if anybody has any home built obstacles, any pics, what did you put in it? Any thoughts?
It started to knock from the clutch area during decelerating just before returning to the idle range. I have replaced the wet clutch, primary, secondary, all bearings, seals, belt, about everything. Runs perfect now, but the knock is still there. One way bearing is in the right way. I was convinced that was the problem and I bought a 2nd one. The noise is still there. It’s a single knock that hits about 4-5 mph when slowing down. If you slow it down very slowly, the knock doesn’t happen. I am now trying a 3rd one way bearing. The first two were aftermarket ones from Ebay that cost $20. I’m hoping the oem fixes the problem. It makes the noise in neutral too. Has anyone ever had any experience with this? I have learned a lot from this website and appreciate the help.
