2014 350 4×4

Has anyone put a speedometer/odometer on one of these. I see some aftermarket ones just not sure how good they are and will they hold up. Or should I just put a hour hour meter on it. Thanks for your help.

Snowblower??

Its that time again!(groan) Winter is coming fast so I need to spruce up my old Arien Snowblower or get a new one. I am currently looking at a Bercomac 54" versatile with the 20hp Honda and a 2016 Grizz. The Grizz is a no brainer just looking for opinions or suggestions on the blower (yes,no,maybe??)

I MAY also get a rough cut 44" mower the brand dosent really matter all I want is ability and toughness!!?

Trailer Tires Needed,Had a Blowout..My Fault?

We took a ATV trip earlier this week and drove out to the place almost two hours of highway driving,My speeds averaged anywhere between 60 to 75ish. Got there fine, but about 40 mins into the trip back,BOOM! Just felt a sway and rough rolling,,looked in my mirror and seen a glimpse of something flying into the air and rubber slinging. Pulled over and discovered it ripped my fender off!

The tires were in decent condition,Im not sure what happened but this seems pretty extreme, for just a blow out? I dont have much experience towing trailers, but does this seem normal?

I was reading on trailer tires, and it said the majority of them are rated up to 65mph,Now I bet I was going a bit faster, maybe 75mph max,Was this the cause of this?

NEED HONEST INPUT !!

So after watching me drive away numerous times to hit the trails with friends, the wife has realized just how much she misses it. It’s actually how we met! Anyways, the problem is we have a young child who would ride along. I’ve narrowed it down to a couple choices, and maybe I’m missing something. Either a two up atv, or a sXs. I’ve never owned either, and pricing is close to the same. Input please!

Cabela’s Selling Chinese 4 Wheelers

Visited our new Cabela’s store today. I think I’ll stick with Bass Pro. They are proud of EVERYTHING in there! I was also shocked to find Coleman brand utility 4 wheelers for sale in there….

After quickly looking it over, I thought it had to be Chinese. It had all the signs… Cheesy turn signals, cheap looking switches, etc. Sure enough, there was a decal on the back that said "Made in China." Wow…… At least Bass Pro sells Arctic Cat machines. I’m shocked that company would put that crap out on the floor.

Trail Fest Demo Ride Critique

This year at Hatfield McCoy’s trail fest I did a couple of different demos I wanted to share my opinions.

Arctic Cat Trail: Tremendous amount of front end push would not steer worth a damn found myself having to back up just to make a simple turn. It has decent power but the suspension had me wondering as I bottomed it out a number of times on the same spot on the trail.

Arctic Cat Sport: About the same. Overall I was expecting better.

Suzuki King Quad 2016 750 EPS: This demo was actually done on the Rockhouse Trails on the blue and green trails not a private track. The demo was about 1 hour in duration. Has good power and good sound to the pipe but the floor boards were a but awkward on the trail it wasn’t as noticeable but on the way to the trail on the roads I found myself searching myself looking for a comfortable place to place my boots. However the engine braking leaves a lot to be desired the trails were very muddy and slippery and on a couple down hills I was free wheeling a lot and had to use the brakes a lot more with the rear end wanting to kick out a little. The Arctic Cat guys said new for 2016 they have 27% better fuel economy because they have less engine braking.

Polaris Ace 900:
Fun to drive but very different got a little squirrely in a couple places maybe because I was pushing it hard. It has very good power but the suspension could be upgraded along with the tires perhaps Big Horns? (a woman on first ride out rolled it)

Polaris RZR Turbo 1000: The suspension is unbelievable I braced myself a couple times due to roots/rocks on the trail but never felt anything. I also pushed this machine very hard and never found myself in a potentially scary situation. The acceleration is crazy, The gas pedal was a bit stiff I had to press my foot hard down hard.

Last but certainly not least I was a passenger in a YZX 1000 down the drag strip. The power, acceleration, and sound are absolutely incredible not to mention it was very comfortable to sit in.
