I want the best for my new 2016 grizzly, but I also do not like spending my hard earned money on an oil that is not necessary. I am going to stick with the yamalube during my initial break-in period, but am open for other options on oil types/brands. I have spent a few years on a web site named "bob is the oil guy", and have seen quite a few positive posts and used oil analysis reports on diesel rated oil with the JASO certification such as shell rotella. 15w40 for summer, and 5w40 for winter. I just wanted all of your opinions on this highly debatable matter. Please give feedback based on your personal results regarding clutch issues and or other experiences with your oil of choice. If I choose to stick with yamalube, im going to have to shop online for this expensive stuff. Thank you all.

I cant seem to get the correct information if the new 700 motors require valve lash adjustment/checking or not like the older 660’s and first few years of the 700. The owners manual I believe only shows for it to be checked at the 20 hour service. I don’t recall seeing this to be checked again? I am referring to a 2016 year 700 motor. Thank you.
I am hearing rumor that these machines are topping out near 60 mph in stock form? Mine is still breaking in, and hit 59 mph only for a moment. I didn’t buy this thing for top end speed, but sometimes like to open her up on certain long roads like we all do. Are these things speed limited by computer? The 700 monster should have no problem in my opinion with powering faster than 60 mph?
Can you run shims with the jbs kit.i was told you can’t because supposedly it will hit the cage but I’ve heard others doing it .I’d like to try the.5mm just to see the difference.
They are also running a contest to win one of their detectors. Click the link once there and follow the instructions. Deteknix
You can also read my story how I got started detecting. My dad not only helped me get my first detector but also went on my journey to Pennsylvania to pick up my eBay purchase, my first ATV, 2009 Yamaha Grizzly 550 SE.
