Front drive shaft won’t come out.. Any tricks?

Removed the 13mm bolt that holds the d/s to the through shaft.. Slipped the d/s back and can get it off the splines.. But I can’t pull it out of the way. The d/s won’t move enough to pull it away from the through shaft..

Is the rubber coupling keeping the d/s from moving back far enough? Or is there something im missing? I know you don’t have to pull the front diff so Id prefer not too. When I pull the yoke off the splines and try to flip it up to clear the splines.. The edge of the yoke catches the part of through shaft.

Should i buy a 1000 or a 800 and which year?

I guys, i’m pretty new with the cam am… I owned multiple snomobiles, seadoo, motorcycle but i have only one ATV wich is an kingquad 700 2007. I’m planning on buying a used Renegade 2012-2013… i’m looking for a 1000 base model since the xxc is around 2500$ (new) more than the base and that it’s mostely the suspension the big difference… I’m i right to go with the base model? I’m not planning doing any huge jumping etc.. mostly trail riding and a bit of mud.. So is the base 1000 Renegade is the way to go? Thanks a lot!

Fabrication front bumper complete

Front bumper is done. Used the idea from Wild Boar but changed it up a little bit. Made it a little bigger and used a angled mounting plate to fit a winch in the future. Bumper in made out of aluminum pipe. Total weight is 13 lbs. I have a total of 14 hrs from start to finish. What took the most time was smoothing out the welds so it looks nice. Off to powder coat.

2012 renegade, need a tuner?

I have a 2012 1000 renegade with a two brothers exhaust, it seems to lose performance with the exhaust installed, I’ve only rode with it installed for a couple of rides, but my old g1 didn’t need a tuner when I had my exhaust and it ran beautiful, but I imagine being a dual exhaust, it flows easier and more efficient, two brothers claims there’s a gain of hp but yet there are no maps for a tuner for the exhaust? Any suggestions, is it worth $200 to get a tuner? There is no excessive heating with the exhaust on, doesn’t backfire unusually, just isn’t as snappy, top end isn’t as great either
