Hey guys I’m from South Eastern Michigan looking to buy a 2015 Outlander 800 xt or 1000xt. Which dealership is technically the highest volume Can Am dealer that has the lowest prices with no BS fees?
Previously I’ve owned a 2011 Polaris Touring 850XP and with Polaris the cheapest places I’ve found were East Honda Toledo and Abernathys. Are there any dealerships like that around that sell Can AM?

where are yall finding replacement vent hoses for the quads. I need to replace the one that’s held on to the fan and I notice that it looks smaller then the rest of the ones that are under my gauge pod
So i just received my Rubberdown Customs Rad Relocate kit for my 13 Outty 1K. Top notch quality, very nicely manufactured and very sturdy. Only one part of the kit has me a little uneasy which is why im here asking. It came with the plastic 1" connectors to attach the different coolant hoses together. My question is this, how long have other members had these on their quads with no issues? I just feel a little uneasy with them, but im sure they’ll be fine. I was thinking about picking up some brass ones instead, but figured I’d ask before i dropped the $$$ on them. I know my truck has the composite within the coolant system but that seems to be a bit heavier and thick, what came with the kit has me questioning it.
Figured id ask! Thanks for the help guys and gals, ill get up a pic of my kit once installed!
As the headline says I had a rear tire failure on my 800 Max XT.
I missed a ride today because of it and I’ll be dammed if I am going to miss another one next Saturday.
So with that said I need to order some tires. I don’t plan on adding a lift, spacers or changing wheels anytime in the near future. I’d like to get the best bang for my dollar and not have to do ANY trimming.
I haven’t been on ATV’s enough to have any experience with "good" tires. I don’t think I want anything like a Mayhem or Zilla as they appear to be too aggressive of a tire to suit my needs and would make for casual trail rides with my mom and dad too rough.
So here’s where I’m stuck… I trail ride but also go through some swampy/marshy areas, bit of water (standing and flowing), sand (not much but no other way around), mud (don’t go looking for it but will go through) snow and rocky trails.
Tires I see people recommending… ohh and they will be on the stock 12" rims
Bear Claw HTR
Slingshots
XTR
Swamplites
And what size do you recommend for each tire…26’s or 27’s
Some of our trails around here are a little tight so add that to some of the rocky areas and the increased sidewall durability is a must.
I don’t know whats in stock or how long to order. I just want/need tires on the bike by Friday.
Tires is a never ending topic, but unfortunately I’m at work a few days this week so I am leaning on the community here to possibly help me out.
mice moved beeswax inside clutch cover and made belt slip. I removed stuck on wax with heat gun, then rubbed clean with mineral spirits. I did not remove clutch.
After cleaning, it now makes noise when in neutral or reversing.
Recently a buddy bought a mint condition outlander 800 max for$1400.Too good to be true maybe. So he has a few problems.First the gauge lights only work,no speedo etc, when trying to start you turn the key to cycle the fuel pump then press the start button and it cycles the fuel pump again and won’t start 9 times out of 10,the brake foot pedal seems like it is stuck on most of the time.We cleaned the speedo sensor and nothing changed.Changed the fuel pump already.I told him to clean all the grounds and clean the solenoid. Is there anything else we should be doing. We are both new to canam’s.Thanks
I recently purchased the 2016 XMR 1000R and installed the yoshimura slip on exhaust. I know that can am says that a fuel controller is not necessary with this exhaust but I feel like one needs to be added. So I thought I would ask is there any way of being able to tell if it is needed? If so which fuel controller should I get? I was considering the EJK but don’t know which one the gen3 or gen3.5
Hello everyone
Just wanted to post some pictures of the radiator from my 800 it has low km on it and had 2 new water pump seals installed until I found out about the swollen radiator. Needless to say I replaced the radiator myself and did the expansion bottle modification and fan switch override. Hope this fixes the problems and helps others as to what to look for if they are having problems.
Cheers :th_smiliepullhair:
