Am looking to replace original tires on Outlander Max Ltd, 2011. Treads are almost gone but biggest problem is flats. First couple of years ran on sharp rocky terrain and also had leaking. Dealer reseated and slimed seamed to fix it. Now better terrain am getting slow leaks again. Ride dirt trails and roads without sharp rocky terrain now. Also plow with chains in the winter. Current tires are Carlisle 560441, 560442, AT26X8R12, and AT26X10R12. Any suggestions?
I just got a 15 outlander max 1000 xtp. The ride is great as far as hitting bumps and rocky terrain but on a turn it wants to raise the inside rear tire and it feels tippy. What can I do to help this. Is it a shock adjustment issue?
I was replacing my drive belt and getting ready to button up the belt cover and thought that perhaps it would be a good idea to rim the rubber gasket with my finger and some oil or grease,..sort of like an oil filter.
Is this the correct way? If you do rim the gasket, what do you use?
I ride mostly in Maine. The ATV laws state that any exhaust can’t exceed 96 DB Measured from 20". Any one know how loud the DB level is out of a looney tune slip on ?
Do you think it’s legal?
So I called up can am for my first service after 10 hours on my outlander. I got quoted for almost $300 to complete the service. After hearing that, I asked if I could just get all the fluids and check the valve clearances myself since I know how. The service rep. Told me that they wouldn’t clear the maintenance light unless I paid for the service. Is there anyway I can reset the light? I’ll probably have to go to someone else. Kinda makes me mad, but just trying to see if there are other options
