CVTech Retailers

Does anyone have a link for a reputable dealer that sells/tunes CVTech clutches? I’m looking at my options for clutching right now and I’m interested in the pricing.

RCM shift knob

Talked to Craig from RCM shift knobs last week and asked about a custom design. I showed him an example and here’s what he came up with. Machining is fantastic and the engraving is spot on. This is the three finger version and is much nicer than the plastic bulb that BRP provides. No clearance issues on the machine. Here’s the finished product.

2014 Renegade 1000 cranking but not starting.

To make a long story short. The battery on my Renegade must’ve had some sort of major malfunction. It was completely dead. No crank, no lights, nothing. So, I replaced the battery yesterday. It cranked, ran for about 10 seconds, and died. Since that happened I haven’t been able to get it to start. It will crank, with plenty of power, but will not start. I hooked it up to my battery tender overnight and the battery shows fully charged this morning. It’s still not starting. I am not seeing any codes on the screen. So, it’s got to be a fuel issue, relay issue, or tps issue in my mind. It sounds like the fuel pump is doing what it’s supposed to prior to starting.

Any ideas what I’m looking at here?

TIRES?clutch kit needed for bigger tires?

Good day

I have 1000 xt, and looking for info about tires?

My stock tires are shit for this big bad boy and looking for a good trail 70/30 mud tire?
But I want something good enough for good mud slinging but good for trail too, I don’t want to be made a fool by getting stuck in a decent mud pit lol

I phoned a well known tire shop about tires and I was told I needed a clutch kit if I was going to get 28" tires and he only recommend "ZILLAS".
I’m leaning towards the mudlites and the zillas?

2nd, snorkels or no snorkels? What would happen if I did not use any?
But I would really like the feed back, posting from Manitoba,CAN

Kyle Chaney took the win in front of Can-Am / JB Racing / Houser Racing teammates Larry Hendershot Jr. and Tim Farr, respectively.

Can-Am Racers Earn Numerous ATV and Side-By-Side Podiums in West Virginia

Valcourt, Québec, May 27, 2015 – Can-Am Maverick 1000R side-by-side vehicle racer Kyle Chaney won the XC1 Pro UTV class at the Mountaineer Run Grand National Cross Country race this past weekend in West Virginia. Can-Am Maverick 1000R pilots swept the XC1 Pro class and also won the XC2 Pro Sport and Amateur Limited classes at the Masontown, W.Va., race. Can-Am ATV racers also earned two wins and eight podiums.

“Our GNCC Maverick racers were awesome this weekend. Maverick 1000R driver Kyle Chaney led from wire-to-wire, earning another win to regain the XC1 Pro class points lead,” said Jeff Leclerc, Racing Project Leader, Can-Am. “Our racers, with numerous wins and podiums, continue to push hard for wins. We have a bunch of dedicated ATV and side-by-side vehicle racers, all working for the same goal of putting Can-Am in the winner’s circle.”

Kyle Chaney (Chaney Racing / TurnKey UTV / Can-Am) won the XC1 Pro UTV class at round three of the GNCC UTV series, giving him back-to-back victories and the points lead.
The No. 591 of Treavis Poynter currently sits third in the XC1 Pro class standings.

Chaney, the defending 2014 GNCC UTV XC1 Pro class champion, has posted back-to-back victories to push his Chaney Racing / TurnKey UTV / Can-Am Maverick 1000R into the XC1 Pro class points lead. Fellow Can-Am Maverick racers and Can-Am / JB Racing / Houser Racing teammates Larry Hendershot Jr. and Tim Farr joined him on the podium. Mouse Pratt took fourth in the class to give Can-Am the top four overall finishers on the day.

“The Can-Am Maverick 1000R side-by-side worked really good. The top four XC1 Pro class finishers were Can-Am and they are just dominating the woods racing scene right now. I’ve got a pretty good points lead, so I am hoping to keep getting podiums and get a repeat championship when it’s all done,” said Chaney.

Can-Am Maverick pilots also had great success in the other GNCC UTV classes, winning the XC2 Pro Sport (Dave Plavi; Offroad Motorsports / Wicked Bilt) and the Amateur Limited (Richard Travalena, Team Travalena) classes and earning four additional podiums. Can-Am Maverick drivers now own the top four spots in the XC1 Pro GNCC class, the top two spots in the XC2 Pro Sport class and the top spot in the Amateur Limited ranks.

Dave Plavi has found his groove in his Offroad Motorsports / Wicked Bilt Maverick 1000R, having won his last two races.
He won the last American Woods Racing Championship Series event and then followed that up with a XC2 Pro Sport class win at the West Virginia GNCC.

In 4×4 ATV action, defending 4×4 Pro class champion and Renegade racer Bryan Buckhannon notched his seventh straight podium finish, earning second, to maintain his class points lead.
