where can I get a Polaris standard winch mount for my 2015 sportsman 850. Called my local dealer and they told me the only way I can get the mount is with the winch. I don’t need a winch just the mount

So, I finally got my front cargo box for my 850, and I just received my 2+2 Rotopax fuel tanks and deluxe mounts last night. I’ve been planning on mounting the Pax on top of the cargo box as many of you have, but just eyeballing it last night figuring out (roughly) where the mounts will end up on the lid it doesn’t look like all four holes of the mount will be on the "flat" part of the lid. (I hope this makes sense). One of the holes is over the part of the box that dips down 1/4 inch or so. Again, I haven’t done anything permanent yet, just eyeballing everything for about 10 minutes last night before I went to bed.
Question is: how do your mounts sit on your lid ? I can easily put three bolts on each mount which will probably be plenty, or I could put a few washers under the mount on the low spot as spacers to put four bolts in…
OR should I just buy the mounting bracket from Rotopax and mount it to the lid ? What did you guys do ? Pics would be helpful.

Im new on this forum and I figured this be the best place to ask my questions. I have a 2010 Polaris 550 XP and I want to snorkel it but would like to do it my self. My questions are what size holes and pipe or flex hose will I need for air box? What’s size hole for the fenders? What size hose for the drive inlet and outlet? Any info would much appricated!

After a tough week at an event in Croatia last year where I wrecked the frame I decided to rebuild my SP 500 on to a new frame.

I also had a hard time with mud in the rad and overheating which I wanted to try and address.

The only other problem I had was charging and battery life. We did a lot of winching everyday and the bike’s system simply can’t cope.

So, after 10 months thinking about it I finally stripped the bike and began the re-designed rebuild.

Along with the main frame, the front frame was also twisted so needed replaced. I decided to make the replacement myself which would also allow me to make other changes along the way.

So the list as I began stood at:

Rad relocate
Winch upgrade and relocate
Front storage mods
Auxiliary battery
LED lights throughout
General tidy up/repaint of parts

I just bought LED whip for my 850 XP. That whip will be installed rear corner on my rear rack. What’s the best way to hook up the LED Whip wiring? It also comes with remote. Tried checking YouTube but couldn’t find anything showing best way to connect the wirings.
