So I am inquiring for a friend. I myself wouldn’t have a carborated 4 wheeler just because I know how much of a pain they are to start in the cold weather with my older Hondas but he is looking at a 2013 polaris sportsman 500 and it’s carborated. Can anyone tell me anything good or bad about them. Whether they have a bunch of problems vs the efi. Just the overall opinions of carborated in the new polaris’
Where is the best place to buy a sportsman 1000 or 850? I live in central Florida. I planned on going to abernathys but was wondering what everyone else’s opinion on where to get the best deal was? Thanks in advanced.
I’m looking to purchase my 13YO daughter an ATV for xmas. The Phoenix caught her eye but she really wants a pink one if possible. I know Polaris stopped making the Phoenix in pink a few years ago. I didn’t know if there was any leftovers someplace still available. I know I can likely locate a used unit for a decent price but would much rather have new if possible.
(Willing to travel — like all fathers I’ll do anything for my daughter)

I am getting bit hard with trying to find something for my 5 year old daughter to start riding on. I have found an old trx125 somewhat nearby, but I think it is gonna be too big for a while yet. I have located a Chinese 110 atv, it needs a starter and battery. I think I can pick it up for around 50 bucks. Am I going to regret this purchase? It is blue, but I am thinking a pink camo wrap will fix that :). I think this might be a machine more her size and speed. And there is little man 3 years behind her, so if it all holds up the camo wrap will come off and he can use it when she upgrades. I have been looking, and parts are easy to get and cheap. I like the size, ease of operation (centrifugal clutch), and safety cut off features. How bad am I screwing up here folks?
Hello everyone I’m looking to buy a plow for the upcoming winter for my Polaris sportsman etx and don’t know much about it…I’m not looking to go spend a ton of money on one either. My plan is to get a superwinch 3000lb winch and then I need to pick a plow. I was looking at a warn plow with push tube but they didn’t make a mount that fit the etx unless if anyone would know it’s the exact same one as the 2011-2014 Polaris sportsman 400. I didn’t know if it was and hope someone can help me out. Also can I hear someone’s thoughts on the superwinch 3000lb winch. Also I forgot to add that the plow was a 48" and since the etx is only 325cc I didn’t know if it could handle bigger like a 54" plow. Thanks again in advance
Went by the dealer today to inquire about getting an ATV for my 8yo and 13yo for Christmas. Was told that they could only sell me a 50cc for my 8yo and a 90cc for my 13yo. My concern is that I will be wasting my money on getting these smaller sizes and then having to upgrade within a year or two or the kids having no interest in them after a few months because they are too small. Are my concerns legitimate or will these sizes be fine and be able to last at least 3-4 years for each kid?
About to sell mine. It has low hours and mileage. Opinions on what I should ask for it. I’ve never sold one this new before so just not sure about pricing.:albert:
Hi all! I’m new to this arena, so I need some help. I’m looking at one of these…has about 2900 miles…with a newer Warn winch and a Polaris blade.
I stopped to take it for a spin today. I only had a few minutes to check it out. It started easily, ran well, and seemed to function properly. Very clean. The ask is 4k. Any thoughts?
