Hey all I posted a couple months ago how I was looking to get a new ATV, as you know I have made my decision and it has come down to the 570 With EPS and the Polaris Pursuit Camo. Im gonna get the 5 year warranty and I feel like the Polaris seems to be a good solid reliable quad. My local dealer is Ledgewood Powersports in New Jersey and seems to be a good reliable dealership (oldest dealer in NJ)

Would you buy the snowmobile or Side by Side?
Off topic I know but I’m looking at getting one of the two, I already have a ’14 sportsman 570 to take into consideration.
I’m looking at:
-2011 switchback assault 800 with 600 miles for $8000-$9000
-2014 non-current Kawasaki teryx 800/2 for $11,849 ($13,450 OTD) with 3 year warranty.
Sled pro’s
-Cheaper
-More fun in winter
-Social factor, lots of friends ask me to ride with them
-Stress factor, I need a winter escape from exams and stuff
-Smaller easier to store
-Already have a quad for summer
Teryx pro’s
-Works year around
-Comfier when going on long trips
-better resale value (although large depreciation off lot compared to sled)
-Build a dealer relationship for future discounts
-Universal for work or play
-Warranty/New wow factor (don’t judge you know the feeling)
Looking into a 570 sportsman
I currently own a 05 Yamaha Big Bear and 05 Kodiak 450 which I have not put a dime into besides normal maintenance or things I wanted to do and these things have been ridden pretty hard. The big bear is a little too slow for me and I’m looking at getting something new this fall or next spring. I would hands down get a Grizzly 700 if I could round up the extra money. I have never really been a Polaris fan but have been looking into the new 570 base model. All I can find is how many problems they have basically brand new which makes me not want to get one. I like a few things that Polaris does though and I like the power of the 570 compared to the Yamahas. I’d be doing a lot of trail riding with a little bit of everything in terms of terrain. I’d just like to know if its worth getting or not, I take care of my stuff but is ridden pretty hard and just like to ride not fix them as much.
Would a TRX420 tow a Seadoo?
Greetings I have been looking at a TRX420 solid Axle Manual shift for use a the lake. I would like to be able to tow the Sea-Doo up my 90ft dirt road so I do not have to keep backing the truck down into the water. I like the TRX500 and the TRX 420. I realize they are rated for under 1000 pounds while the new Rubicon is at 1300?
I would like to do some light trail riding with it as well.I am looking for advice so that i make the correct purchase.

Getting my first atv
hey guys just looking for some info. I want to get my first atv. I currently ride an 05 crf150f, and I’m very comfortable on my dads rancher 350, but they both
feel a little sluggish, so i want to get a sport quad. I want one that can take a lot of abuse, as I like to ride hard. I’ve been looking at some trx 400’s, and they seem to sell for pretty cheap. Would this be a good quad to start on, seeing that I already have experience?
