Hi, I’m new to this Forum. I just bought me the new 2015 Polaris Sportsman 4X4 delivered to my home from the delear today. What I noticed was oil leaking from the engine when I turned her on from the bottom of this part that I have listed in the attachment file. Is this normal? I’ll contact the dealer first thing in the morning to find out but wanted to ask you all on this forum first do to the time of night it is.
Want to hear from members that ride hard (lots of mud, water, and wide open throttle) what kind of service schedule do you follow as far as fluid changes or do you follow the recommendations in the manual?

Well I am totally confused after reading some posts about lubing A-arms u joint, and the like. I have a 2004 Sportsman with "no" Zerk fittings. I want to take good care of my ride, but should I leave the "sealed" fittings alone, or drill and tap Zerks, and install everywhere there is a movement of joints, or should I remove these connections and lube them up, then re-assemble?? This machine has 850 miles, and is in very decent shape mechanically. Any help here is appreciated. :str:

I have my first atv a sportsman 850 h.o. Just wondering if there are any guides to the lubrication suggested at the 500 mile mark. How do you lubricate the shift linkage and throttle cable? What does general lubrication include? Are these completely necessary?
So, I finally did my 25 hour oil change today. When I bought the 570 eps from the dealer they sold me an oil filter which is the one I used. When I got the original out, I noticed that it was a different model number from what I purchased. The new one is maybe 1 inch longer. Everything else is the same and it fit in. Is this ok to use?
