ds250 rear brake issue

hey guys my daughters ds250 has had rear brake issues since I bought it second hand a year ago

front brakes work amazing
rear brakes …. handle and pedal feel a little hard and brakes apply but not very good I have to squeeze with all my force to get them to work and my 10 year old daughter cant even get them to work at all

so far I have put in new pads , cleaned and greased the slide, bled the brakes countless times with a vacuum pump . the caliper seems to be working fine with it off bike I hit breaks and it moves in and out freely I am stumped any help would be appreciated :th_smiliepullhair:

4×4 stopped working

2002 sportsman 700 Twin. When I got it the 4wd only worked when holding the override. Replaced the shift switch and that solved the problem. All of a sudden today 4wd stopped working. The 4wd light seems to flicker a little but till I hit the throttle. Pressing the override doesn’t do anything. I unplugged the connector to the diff. Switch off it has only volts to both wires. In park reverse and neutral with switch on it has 12v to both. In drive or low. Or reverse with override pressed I have 12v to the brown wire and 6 to the grey wire. Should these both be at 12 volts? Anyone else had thus problem?

Checking valve clearnace and Gold Plugs

Doing this for the first time on the old 2011 Grizz 700 and have a few q’s?

I’ve found valve clearance specs as such…

Intake 0.09–0.13 mm (0.0035–0.0051 in)
Exhaust 0.16–0.20 mm (0.0063–0.0079 in)

If anyone can confirm that’d be great. I’ve been told to adjust the valve clearances to the top of the range in anticipation that they will tighten over time. This sound about right?

Are these the only two o-rings I’ll need to replace? Both #18s in the schematic…

And finally, which of those two valve covers are the intake and exhaust?

Also, was wondering about replacing my two gear box oil drain plugs and engine oil plug with the magnetic Gold Plugs. But at a price of $60 I’m wondering if they’re actually worth it. Do people regularly find metal bits attached to these plugs?

Thanks
