83 big red sprocket change

Ok my 83 honda big red has stock sprockets and I want to get more top end. It seems as if the machine maxes out in 5th gear so quick and the motor is just screaming. I wanted to know what is the best front and rear sprocket size to get as much top end as possible. The machine probably does 50-55mph now and having a hard time keeping up with all my buddies quad’s. I would really appreciate some help in choosing the right sprocket size.

2014 Mav Max 1000 XRS Clutch Inner Half Rust

I just bought a 2014 Maverick Max 1000 XRS with 60 hours and 310 miles. It seemed to be slipping a bit on my first venture into the woods. We opened it up to check the belt and the inner half of the primary clutch seems discolored and had rust near the center. From what I’ve read it sounds like this is probably caused from the belt slipping? Is it acceptable to knock the rust off and polish it back up?

Thanks in advanced for any help.

2004 Rancher AT light engine/trans vibration?

I have a 2004 Rancher AT that has 500 hours & 3,500 miles. I bought it new & have put about all of the miles on it. I’ve kept the oil changed with Honda 10-40. It’s had fairly hard life, not putted around by any means. About 150miles ago I was going up a hill on pavement with the throttle pinned & I felt it pick up a slight vibration. If you hadn’t been on the bike when it happened, you wouldn’t notice it. The vibration is there at idle, it goes with the engine RPM not MPH, it gets a little worse under load.
I changed the oil & have put about 100miles of Arkansas trails on it & it’s "slightly" worse after the last trip. I also saw it puff a little white smoke on deceleration for the first time so I would assume a top end is in its future.
It hasn’t used oil, It runs fine, It has slightly less power than it did brand new. If you just got on it, you would think there’s nothing wrong with it.
I have an auto mechanic back round but haven’t had to tear into this machine before. The top end doesn’t scare me but I’m not sure what would be causing this slight of a vibration. Anyone ran across this before or have any suggestions? Thanks!

TRX250 Arm Bushings

Someone with experience replacing these?

Got my 06 TRX250 torn down to powder coat. The rubber bushings are real tricky to get all out in one piece in a hydraulic press as thin as the metal collar is on the outside. I just took a torch and burned the rubber bushing out from the inside. Now I dont know how im going to get that thin walled collar out.

When i was checking online there arent any specific pictures for aftermarket bushing kits from alls balls or quad boss but they do sell them. My question is does the aftermarket kit even come with a new collar or are they just rubber inserts maybe? Which means I can leave the collar in. Interesting that you cant get oem replacements for these you have to purchase new arms with them preinserted.

570 burning oil

I bought a 2015 570 sportsman last spring. I put less then 325 miles on last year. Changed the oil early this spring with the recommended oil and filter from Polaris. Put 80 miles on and my buddy riding behind me said he smelled oil. So we checked it and it was low. Added oil and checked it again after 40 miles once again it was low. Thinking it might be a ring issue?any thoughts?
