Hi I am a new user of a 2009 grizzly 450. it won’t start at all. The battery is brand new and there is power but when I push the button to start the engine it sounds like it is trying but never fires. I admit to being rather clueless with engines and I’m also rather broke from building up a homestead. Can anyone give me tips to troubleshoot this problem?

2002 Honda trx400ex Need Help Please!
I got a 02 trx400ex 3 weeks ago, last owner had it in a shed for 5 years couldn’t get it running I get it and got it going in about 3 days carb was very bad so I buy a new carb and it did the trick ran and idle but slightly high.
The same day I install the carb I decided to tear her down to inspect the piston and valves (ticking noise from top end when running and clanking noise from bottom end when dies or turned off) so I tear it down to make sure I have no issues there and when I had the jug off I decided to have my brother hold the timing chain while I rotate the piston up and down to make sure crank shaft was not wore out but everything seemed fine so I start putting it backed together, so I get to the point of putting timing chain back on and I cant get it right no matter what I do, I’ve put the head on and off about 20 times and I just cant get the timing right. when I rotate engine TDC it seems like its off, it seems like the piston is at TDC at second line or in between second line and the F but if I put it on the l T you can feel the crank drop when you get to it, telling me its not at TDC I don’t know what to do please help I’ve tried everything and I cant figure it out about to give up, Ive tried even doing it by eye by looking inside spark plug hole and putting piston in top position and the timing isn’t right! cant get it running now and it seems to be flooding out and I’m not sure but possible oil in chamber!

New Member from Chattanooga, TN area
Hello. New to the Can Am world. Purchased a new leftover 2015 Outlander L 500 Max from Tim’s Ford Powersports in Winchester, TN recently. The wife and I are members of the Windrock ATV club and are looking forward to riding this 2-up machine especially once the weather cools off.
I see a lot of helpful information on here. I plan to use it, thanks in advance. Purchased some accessories: Terra 25 winch, rear trunk, front basket, full BRP skid plate kit and bumpers. Love the LinQ quick disconnects for the rack accessories. Also purchased aftermarket wheels & tires from TNRon on here (thanks Ron) which look much better and I’m sure will outperform the factory tires.

Need help with TaoTao 110 starter relay wiring
I know this is traditionally a Polaris forum, but im hoping someone can help me out with my son’s atv. I replaced the starter relay and in a moment of stupidity, i didnt pay attention to what i took apart and now I’m confused and just want to make sure I’ve got it wired correctly.
So coming into the relay I’ve got the positive battery cable on one lug and on the other is the wire going to the starter, easy enough! I’ve got two extra wires and this is where i need help. On the same lug as the positive from the battery there’s a fused red wire that disappears into the wiring harness and i believe lies inline with the key. Here’s my main source of confusion, there’s a green wire which i believe is a ground. Does the green ground wire get connected on the same lug as the wire that goes to the starter? This green wire terminates in the depths of the wiring harness with about 5 or 6 other green wires.
Thanks for any help i get.

Polaris 325 choke cable
I’m trying to figure out how to replace my choke cable on a 2000 polaris 325 trail boss. I have the carburator removed but I can’t get a wrench on the bolt to remove the cable. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks
