01 Rancher 350FM weird carb issue

01 Rancher 350 Fm that is doing something unusual

When revving up past 3/4 throttle or so you can see that it pulls
a stream of fuel through the primer spraybar on rear of the carburetor.
It squirts a stream of fuel just like it does when you push the plunger to prime it.
It will pulse a stream if you rev it up and down or a continuous stream if you hold it above 3/4 throttle.
Needless to say its quite eye watering RICH when doing this
I wanted to see if anyone has seen this before and where might start to look first-Carburetor is really clean, primer works well, idles ok
Any and all help appreciated
I will be sure to update here with solution when corrected
Thanks for a super helpful forum

Ds 450x mx 2011 engine light flashing

Hi! Yesterday I was riding my ds 450x mx 2011 and the engine light start flashing! I stop my atv and turn off the ignition key. Then I try to start it again but it doesnt start! When I press the start button there is a little "tick" coming from the battery or the starter but the engine doesnt start! All the light work well and the engine light is on! I try to charge the battery but it doest change anything! What should I do?! Can I do something by myself before bring my atv to the dealer?!

Thanks (sorry for the bad english)

Foam Air Filter options

So I am new to the foam air filters. My 2015 grizzly 700 SE has a foam filter. Is there a pleated paper filter available out there? If not what do you typically use to clean and oil these foam filters? This question may sound dumb but I never dealt with foam before

Colorado Vacation 2016 (Pictures)

Last week the Proctor family and a few friends called Buena Vista Colorado home base and rode for 6 days near Leadville, Buena Vista and Bonanza. The weather treated us well and a good time was had by all. Our group were all on side by sides except for the lone retired chopper pilot we happened upon in the high country. He managed to tolerate our slow pace and multiple stops at almost every mine building near the trail. No breakdowns or rollovers….just a few kids throwing snowballs. Here’s a few of my favorite pics and then I linked to the photobucket album that has a few more. ENJOY!

2014 Sportsman 850 Touring BUILD!

Hey guys,

**reposting to HL area of the forum for specific input there as well

I have been researching a lot about lifts, tires, axles, etc on here, but wanted to run this by you guys……

Still on the fence about how mild or wild i may want to go with my 850 touring. I love the machine, my wife and I go out riding often, and I have been slowly working on things here and there. Basically, I either go with my wife and we are double up – more so out cruising and running anywhere from 20-50%. Or I go out with the guys and we are rippin it up, muddin, etc and running anywhere from 50-80% with shorts bouts of 100% if that makes sense.

So, with a little background, I wanted some insight into potentially carrying out this build. Let me know how you think this will hold up. I want it to be extremely reliable, not leave us stranded, but still be able to handle those days where I want to push it a little more! Anyone out there riding this setup or something similar? Am I missing anything?

I’m not as young and heavy on the throttle as I once was, and I like to think that this build would be a pretty dependable build for me.

A big thing I question is maybe getting something with a little more give than OL2s…. maybe mega mayhems or something.

Look forward to the always good feedback guys!

I would probably like to stick somewhat close to this budget. I thought I could do it for cheaper, but this seems like what I need to get it done right.

2015 Polaris 325 Will not start

Hello everyone, a couple of nights ago i was riding my Polaris at night and the front lights and tail lights went out at the same time and the brake light quit working (but the machine stayed running) so i parked it for the night. I got on it yesterday and it would not start. When you turn the key with the brake on it makes the noises, the digital display comes on, the winch works, the battery is fully charged but when you turn the key all the way to start there is nothing. No clicking of the solenoid or anything. The handlebar lever is on the run position so i ruled that out. There are no codes coming up either. I took the hose and cleaned off all break lines and components to make sure a sensor wasn’t full of mud, i checked all the wiring to make sure it was intact and cannot find anything. Of course the warranty ran out a couple months ago so i would like to figure this out instead of bringing it back to the shop. Any advice on what to check next would be greatly appreciated!
