Helped wife with the Rancher

My wife went to the farm to get away this morning. She told me how relaxed she was out there and then for some reason I sent a text asking if she was okay. "Truth be told-I’m stuck) was her response.

So I grab a tow rope and drive out there. The pics below show where she ended up because she slid off the road.

So I strap up the tow rope and pull her out with the Rancher in 4 wheel drive.

As we’re getting ready to leave she says something like you can fix the road now. :yeahbaby01:

HELP!!!! 2013 Grizzly 550 POD Diag Question

Hello to all. I’m new to this forum. Really great info all over. I’m really hoping someone will be kind enough and help me with my issue. On my 13 grizzly 550 I’m trying to figure out how to reset all the diagnostic settings back to factory. I’ve been trying to find out what each setting under the diag is suppose to be set to- I’ve had no luck at all on finding out what the factory settings are. Or if there is a easy way just to reset them back to factory settings. When I get into diag mode and hit the select button it takes me thru a bunch of different d setting if I remember. Example I think it was d21-off then I hit select and it moves me to a different setting. I’m almost certain one of these settings got moved when a buddy was messing with it and didn’t let me know what he was doing until
After the fact. If anyone knows what these settings from factory should be or a simple way to reset them back to factory this would be a extreme help and I would be very thankful. Thank you!

head light

wondering if anyone can tell me the part# for the head light bulb? not the polaris part# but an aftermaket #. polaris wants a small fortune for thier bulb.
I bought a 2006 phoenix and it’s missing the headlight bulb.

Hello fellow owners.

I have had several Polaris and now have a 1999 Ranger 6×6. Recently it has started cutting out and loosing power. I replaced spark plug which was fouled and run fine for about ten minutes. It still struggles on top end even after replacing the tiny fuel filter with a larger wix. Is it possible I will need a fuel pump soon or couldn’t it be I have to big of a fuel filter.

Second who has considered removing the mid axle and can tell me the pros and cons. My mid axle currently need all bushings replaced and new struts. The main reason I want to remove is because I will have to cut several seized bolts. Can I just remove the axles from the gear box or is here more to the headache?

Posting this to hopefully let you avoid doing the same.

Yesterday, I was moving my ATVs out of the garage. First the Outlander, then I put the key in my 2008 Renegade and turned it. I got a "Check Engine" message on the display and the engine would not turn over in the slightest.

I spent a while sweating while checking fuses, fluid levels, anything this guy with a low level of mechanical skills could think of. I even checked the connections on the battery and went ahead and topped off the charging of it while I had it apart.

I came to the conclusion that I was going to have to take it to the mechanic and let him have a look. When I started to move towards the Outlander to bring it back in and dug in my pockets for the key, it was then that I realized I was using the Outlander key in the Renegade. :th_smiliefrustrated:th_smiliepissed: I am surprised that I could turn the wrong key in the ignition.

Like I had nothing better to do yesterday afternoon. Live and learn, right? I keep telling my family members that they can drop me off at the nursing home any day now.

Anyway, just thought I might save someone else the same headache.

Need help replacing cooling fan for 2014 570 Sportsman

Short Version: Need to replace cooling fan but not pay through the body part of your choice. Instructions online or take good pics when I take the thing apart?
Long Version: Riding in mountains of CO when overheat light came on and engine went in to protect mode. Cooled down, but noticed no fan running as it was the day before. Rode back to truck slowly in high, no light. Cooled down again, added small amount of antifreeze, then tested again in high gear for 7 miles at no more than 20 MPH when smelled something hot, with blue-ish smoke around the ATV. Cooled down and slowly road back to truck thankfully; no light. Dealer close by helped me verify that the cooling fan was dead. None in stock of course and days before repairs could even begin. Also, no immediate cause for fan to turn into blue smoke either, so a new fan could have the same fate. Ideas for an average guy with a socket set?

98 Foreman ES 450 Sub Fuses

Hello, can anyone tell me what each sub fuse does on my 98 450 ES?

I have scoured the manual and cant find the listing of what does does what?

I’d like them all, but in particular, if standing on the left side of the bike, the 2nd from the bottom 15 amp fuse has blown and actually melted, so I’m trying figure out what this controls.
