So I was driving the quad and suddenly it lost power just as I started to gun it. The sounds is like it’s running on a half a cylinder or like a plug is bad. Has no power when pressing the gas but idles perfectly. Changed spark plug air filter cleaned carb and replaced with all new parts all fuel lines look good. There’s no knocking or strange noises coming from cylinder. Any other ideas?

2012 Sportsman 500 H.O overheating
So this quad gets up to temp but the fan doesn’t come on. I put 12 volts directly to the fan and it works. So I was told most likely it’s the temp sensor in the radiator. I put a new one in (no I didn’t test the old one:dunce:) and the fan still doesn’t come on. I checked the new sensor for ohms when it was hot and it’s got ohms. Now the old sensor laying on the work bench doesn’t show any ohms at all. So ,when the engine cools down, the new sensor should do the same? Also while looking things over, I saw this wire that looks exactly like a positive battery cable. It had this plastic "fastener" of some sort on it and I have no idea what it is. It runs between the air box and the battery and was just hanging there with that black thing on it Please Hellllllllppppp! :knockedout:
UNI Air Filter
Recently bought a UNI Air filter for my 2014 700. Seems to be slightly oversized causing it to "tent" a little. It seals ok in the the housing but just does not lay perfectly flat like the stock one did. Anyone else notice this and should be no problem right?
Thanx.

Battery question
My son has a 50 cc Eton 2 stroke quad. I can leave it on the battery tender or charger all night and when I try to start it, it cranks about one time then just clicks. I assumed it was dead. A couple weeks ago I jump started it and he road for a while and it shut off (ended up being out of gas) anyway long story short when he has been riding for a while it will crank and crank and crank but once it sits over night (even when showing fully charged) the battery won’t crank it over. I have had two separate chargers on it with same result. Is this likely the battery or something else that could cause this?
