I’m sorry if this has been answered already, but I have searched the forum without luck on getting my question answered.
What size wheel/offset will I need to fit 30x9x14 silverbacks on my 2013 Sportsman 500 HO?
Will I need a lift? What all will I need to upgrade with these tires such as axles/bearings/clutch? I want to upgrade these eventually, but first I want to see If I really want to turn my reliable hunting ride into a more aggressive mud toy and take it for a test drive with the new tires.

Hi guys i have a 07 rincon and seems its slipping under loads. Like i road it yesterday and it did alright till i went in some mud them it would rev up but not turn the wheels! i just as i get the BRGR on it to make it have more power for the mud and now the dam transmission is slipping. Its wired though cause some times it will go and ride and other times it will hardly want to move. This morning i use it to move my trailer around the yard and it didnt want to pull it so i gunned it and got it to move but make a smell like a the clutch was getting hot then i let it set a bit and tried again and moved it with no problem. I had read something about oil pressure and o rings where would i find a shade tree guide on how to do the o rings ! i find it easier to watch a video or use a guide from a another rincon riders point of view rather then using the honda Manuel which is like talking in doctor to me. I have changed oil on it so i know thats not the issue its been doing this since i got it and seems to gotten worse over the years.
Hi everyone, My name is Tom and I live in NE Ohio. I am 48 years old. I have had dirt bikes, sport quads (have the plates, screws, bone graphs, and scars as proof LOL) since the mid 80’s. I used to do a lot of hill climbing. I’m getting older and hopefully wiser and in the last ten years I have switched to Utility quads. I have been a Honda guy my whole life, the last one was a 06 Rincon. I just purchased a 2017 XT-P 1000 last week after getting tired of waiting for Honda to jump to a 1000 cc quad. I still like to ride aggressive but don’t push the envelope as much now. I don’t heal like I used to and can’t miss work. These darn things are expensive. I like hunting, fishing, fast cars, 4 x 4 trucks, beer, etc…… I have a great sense of humor and love a good practical joke or two. So that’s about the gist of it.
Instead of flipping the tie rod for a little extra clearance these should do it. Anyone try these? I just ordered a few pairs in case I go to a 9" front tire on either of my Sportsmans.
I am installing an aftermarket winch on a 2015 Sportsman 850 and am curious where a good location to mount the solenoid would be?? Any tips and pictures would be great, thanks!!
So last year in April me and my wife went and purchased quads. She decided on the etx which has been nothin but problems for us. After about 20 hrs on in the engine had blown(and was very well maintained) it had been through the shop about 3 times before Polaris had just went ahead and swapped it out for a new machine seeing we had so many issues. Well after taking the new one out the same issue has happened again but now I’m the one responsible for it because it’s out of warranty. This one has a blown motor as well after 25 hrs on it. And because Polaris feels they helped out so much they don’t wanna help me out a second time when it’s clearly an issue with the machine. Now they want me to pay over a 1000 dollars to fix the issue and it’s kind of hard to do that seeing I owe 6000 on the machine still. This machine has been perfectly maintained as well. Has anyone else had this problem? Just don’t know how or want to fix it seeing that it could just happened again. Any suggestions
