Buying used Outlander

Hi
I’m in the Uk and I’m about to purchase a 6 months old Can Am Outlander 650 XT-p with just 82 hours on the clock.
Any advice about these quads would be very helpful, I intend to use it on road and do a lot of green laning (off-road)
Thanks in advance.

Led headlight bulbs

Installed low and high beam led bulbs to my – 16 Outlander 570 Pro. Got them from Ebay for 25$ a pair. Low H11 and Hi 9005. These are with cooling fins and we’ll see how they hold up when they get dirt and mud. Front tires throw all the mud straight to headlight covers.

Lights are bright but haven’t tested them in the dark yet. Brighter than stock bulbs. Looks cool anyways 🙂 Still waiting for LED’s for my park light.

I’ll add better pictures later when I get to test them in dark.

(2) 09 700s One Runs Better than Other??

  • I have recently acquired (2) 2009 700 Grizzlys. One with 1600 miles runs noticeably better than the one with 2600 miles. It’s easy to see the 1600 mile machine has had a rougher life, but still runs better.
  • It has been suggested under another topic that I do CVT maintenance as a possible cure. Even though I recognize the importance of this and have it on my "to do" list I do not understand how the two correlate.
  • The slower one starts and runs ok but seems weaker. It acts like it wants to "bog" but never really does. It’s just not crisp at the lower (or higher) rpms like the other. It even feels that way just blipping the throttle in neutral or park.

Thanks in advance

New question-Xplorer 300

I’m wanting to get back on a quad. I last had a 600 Grizzly, about 8 yrs ago. I found a really, really clean 1 owner (farmer) Xplorer 300 4×4. $1500. Still has all the factory warning stickers, underneath is immaculate, plastic is perfect. I’ve only had experience with 4 stroke shaft drive. Are these things ok? I’m not just a mudder or thrasher. It will be maintained and mostly just trail ridden. What do y’all think of these?

No spark on 2013 foreman 500

Just got done doing a rebuild on the motor and put everything back normal and it will not fire, turns over, has air and fuel but no spark. So I did what anyone would do and buy a coil, well turns out my coil isn’t the issue,I’m getting power to it
Black/red tracer: 12
Green/yellow: 12 (I believe)
At rest.
I checked my grounds and fuses
I’m kinda lost anybody know the voltage shouldnt it be 12v (constant) black/red and the yellow/green is like a remote turn on wire?
Any tests I can run with a meter to figure out exactly what’s going on here

300 honda fourtrax 4×4 front diff issue

My front diff grinds/skips bad when i het hung up/front wheels start to spin. Like its trying to engage both wheels at the same time. Took the diff cases apart and the spider gears are stuck solid. No broken teeth or shavings etc. But they’re definitely binding up. How hard is it to take apart these things? I just separated the case haven’t been brave enough to open up the little ‘clutch casing’ thats attached to the ring gear…
