2003 Soortsman 90 Electrical Dead

Hi All,
Newbie to the forum and unfortunately have spent hours upon hours trying to find the answer to the exact issue I am having. So here it goes…

2003 Polaris Sportsman 90 electrical is dead. 1st, a little background to what happened. The ATV was working fine, started up fine using the electric start and it took off and hit the hitch of a truck. Might have been a stuck open carb but I have not been able to replicate it since. Broke the fake light in the cowl.
Since then, there is no electrical at all.
No horn, tail light and no electric start.
It does however kickstart fine, usually 1st or 2nd try, but when running the horn and tail light still do not work at all.
I have bypassed all of the safety switches with jumper wires (wrist tether and brake switch)
I put a brand new battery in measuring 12.71 volts.
When the bike is running the red run/kill will turn it off. So will the key.
So, before I start dumping money into this thing, wondering if anyone can help me isolate probable cause and prioritize replacement components.
I am getting ready to sell it and want it in top working order prior to.
Any information or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!
I am at wits end!

1999 Scrambler 500 4×4 specs

Hi all. I’m new to the scene here. Have had a 99 scrambler 500 4×4 for 5 years. It is in need of some repairs and I cant seem to find any reliable information on some specs for repairs and adjustment. My pull starter broke and took out the pulse coil as they call it. I call it the cdi coil ignitor pickup. Either way I have a book on the machine but it doesn’t tell you anywhere what the clearance is to be set at between the pick up and flywheel. Some say a credit card some say 1mm some say .015-.040 Anyone know where I can get the specs. Also bought a new primary. The belt clearance to sheath seems excessive and doesn’t engage at 1500 rpm as it should, more like 2000, cant ride it slow belt wont engage. Cant find the spec for this either so I can shim the clutch properly. Tell me the clearance please, some say .010-.020. Mine is way beyond that. More like .070 – .090 But once again the book has no info on it. Help please!!! and Thanks you in advance.

outlaw 50 (4stroke) tuning issues,help

Hey yall, Just picked up a 2010 outlaw 50 4 stroke for my 5 yr old girl. used project quad i traded for, seems like its not been trashed . Initially it had the oh so common hard starting problem so i cleaned the carb adjusted the slide needle and went up a size on the pilot. Well that fixed the starting problem, starts super easy now although its running a bit rich even after adjusting the air screw. but was rideable. new spark plug and gapped,new stator and pick up, (it came with it since previous owner thought it was going out,new rmstator in box) . It quickly got more sluggish untill it wont even pull itself empty. put a different ignition coil on and didnt change anything.cleaned/removed air filter,no change,turned off fuel valve no change all the way to running dry. It only runs with throttle in full position and it wont rev enough to turn the wheels (off ground), unhooked the safety on the throttle, didnt change. It sounds like the rev limiter for reverse does on my wifes 325 trail boss. Is there a parking brake limiter? (i cant find one,just the starter switch). i keep reading about a bridge on the cdi to unlock the limiter for when kid gets better at riding, but this one does not have one or a place for it. Is it an aftermarket.
Im going to get a carb rebuild for it next but , dont really think thats the problem.
This thing is really getting on my nerves, never had problems like this with honda,yamaha,kawasaki,suzuki!
any suggestions welcome!!!!!:stups:

2013 420 rancher AT

I have been riding hondas since the 1970s. The other day I was riding on a smooth area when there was a buzzing sound and the machine rolled to a stop the engine runs fine and it shifts through all the gears but it won’t move it tries to move a little forward and reverse. I average over 4000 miles a year. It only has 12000 miles. I usually trade at 16000 miles. Any suggestions before I start tearing it down? In 40 years this is first time I’ve ever had to walk home. I’m a rancher and quit horses 30 years ago.

Hard Crank When Hot

Just wondering if anyone has experienced this issue.

My buddies machine. 2007 Outlander 800

When engine is hot after ride and you shut down machine. It’s very hard to crank over. If you wait 5-10 minutes it starts up normally. No issues with cold start.

We thought it might be a weak battery and changed it. Still the same issue.

Thinking maybe starter. Any thoughts?
