97 trx 300 fw swingarm bearing replacment

well after i discovered my rear swing arm was bent I decided to replace it and not try to fix it. $30 on ebay.

it is in the mail and will have it on friday. with that being said I also ordered a new set of swing arm bearings. Plan is to replace the bearings in the new swing arm for good measure.

I have the old swing arm and am tring to figure out how to get the old bearings out. I know i need to do it to the new arm so might as well try on the old arm first so if i screw it up it is not a big deal. I looked on youtube one guy welded the race and it "popped" out. not too sure of this method. I do have a wire welder if that is the only way. but there must be a better way of doing this? what tools do i need to to this job right? and what have you guys done to tackle this job.

thanks

2015 1000 XP Limited Edition will not start

Went out for a group ride last weekend and partway through after a brief rest the bike wouldn’t start. Normal ride, no water or mud. Towed it back to the trailer and it did start but we shut it off and hasn’t started since. When i turn the key there is nothing, no sounds at all.

No error codes on the computer either. Did some tests with the volt meter and I have 12v at the battery and at the connections to the starter. All the other electrical works fine. Swapped out the relays to make sure that wasn’t the problem as well.

Could it be a bad starter? Is there a seperate solenoid on this machine? I’m stumped and looking for suggestions, i’m fairly handy but need some other ideas please.

Footpeg upgrade help!??

I’ve heard many a tale about the curved Renegade stock pegs ($45 on eBay), fitting right in nicely on any 07-15 Grizz footwell. Also hearing that cheaper ArcCat pegs do nicely as well and at less $! What would a Yami GNCC racer such as myself in the making, want to do to properly alleviate the terribly flat and useless stock pegs?? I’d care more for fit-ment issues being less if not nonexistent more so than I care about $29 or $49 either way. Well, with that said, let my maiden voyage here commence! (Talk amongst yasselves). Can’t wait to hear!
