2015 XT with HMF exhaust

Guys I finally got it done, and have some input
2015 1000XT outlander, bought in August new, was leftover, bone stock and at 10 hrs had dealer do 1st service,
add HMF performance pipe and HMF fuel controller
Was going to do ECU re flash but no company that we found changes fuel tables or resets / tunes through that, they still say to use a PC5 etc.
Now in Hayabusa drag racing world as with any street bike we all use some type of ECU editor where we can tune through it, reset fuel map and do just about anything, 2 step, air shifter kill time, timing curve etc. But the Can AM ECU thing does none of this at this point, I called MR RPM and others and got same answer, You will still need a tuner?
So that is why I went with HMF fuel controller, plug and play, Dealer has Dyno for bikes, and dealer does a ton of race Harleys and jap bikes, Mechanic and manager 7 is his name is a multi time drag race Harley champion, and builder, he adjusted tuner and test rode it and was pleasantly surprised how this thing ran, then he pulled out a brand new 1000 xt and rode it and he said that the pipe and tuner did a great job as they raced the new one and my 2015 smoked it, NOW the new one is brand new, so it probable needs to loosen up a little, break in. But he was very happy and said they will start marketing these set ups as guys come in looking for pipes and tuners.
Again mine is stock motor and stock tires, as well.
I rode it and was also impressed it pulls pretty hard, but loud as hell so if you don’t want noise HMF performance pipe is not what you want!
just my 2 cents on what we saw with those products Brett

Transmission OutPut Shaft Play

Hey Guys, Glad to be a part of the forum.

Lifetime Grizzly rider, First time 2013 Sportsman 850 XP owner power is unreal in the twins!!

I have a question hopefully someone out there can relate or have an answer for.

The output shaft from transmission to Prop shaft on the bike has a touch of play not side to side but in and out. ( same direction as Splines of output shaft) It does sound like the Gear in the transmission moves along with the shaft when I move it. Is this normal play or do i have an internal issue?

Any Input would be Great Thanks Lads.

Metal clicking when in reverse

Got a 2014 550EPS. When i put it in reverse to the left, theres this terrible sound, like a metal clinking sound. Only does it in reverse, and under load. Also, the bar right before the boot is wet looking, but no tears or punctures in the boot? Any ideas? Doesnt seem to be the diff, i can almost feel it in the left rear tire.

The Magnificent 7 Ride Sliverton

I just got back a couple of days ago from a great ride out in Silverton Colorado.
My oldest boy and I coming from Missouri met with others from California, New Mexico and locals from the great state of Colorado.
We rode 5 days covering most of the major passes in that area excluding Black Bear and Ophir Pass. We had 5 days of blue skies with no rain. It was still a little early for the Aspens to be full yellow but they were still beautiful to say the least. Here are a few pictures from the ride.

We stayed in Silverton at small motel called the Triangle motel. It was clean and right on the OHV route. Parking was a little bit of a challenge but if you haven’t been to Silverton parking is a challenge about everywhere.

We even managed to see one of the locals (Ridgway) on top of Corkscrew Pass. It was good to see Ridgway in the mountains in his usual habitat.
