please help end of my rope here my 2002 polaris magnum 325 4×4 wont rev up??? spits sputters and acts like it has a rev limiter starts fine idles good but wont go after one quarter throttle carb professionally cleaned by local dealer gas tank and all filters cleaned new fuel filter and new fuel pump and new coil and plug all new gas lines and new air filter still wont rev up please any suggestions would be helpful thank you troy

Glad I found this place! I’ve decided to treat myself to an ATV. I’ve ridden dirt bikes and sport quads for a while, and currently have a dirtbike. They are fun, but I’m not good at riding them. I’m 32 and I am more worried now about injuries and being out of work, etc. I don’t care about going fast, I just like getting out and riding trails and playing in the mud a little bit. I do not like CVT transmissions and these days that really limits the options out there. I was thinking of buying used to save some cash, but you have to spend quite a bit of money to get a nice used machine so I’m gonna buy new. I’ve never had a brand new ATV/dirtbike ever.

My must have items are 4wd, and manual foot shift. From what I can tell the only options I have are a Rancher, Foreman, or a Suzuki King Quad 400. I’m sure the Suzuki is a good quad, but I’m more of a Honda guy and I’d rather own something that has more of a following and aftermarket support. How much different do the Foreman and Rancher feel when riding? I will be using this machine for pleasure 99% of the time. The only thing that really stands out to me is that the Foreman has the front diff lock which is nice, but I’m not sure it’s worth the jump in price.

Does anybody regret getting a Rancher instead of a Foreman, specifically the new body styles? Since it will be new I want to make the right choice and keep it for a long time.

Edit- One more thing. I’ve also never had an EFI machine. Are the fuel injection systems pretty reliable on these? I prefer to do my own maintenance and work and I am curious if these things are serviceable by a shadetree mechanic.

Pulled the fuse box cover and checked as much of the wiring harness I could and can not see anything out of sorts. Also swapped a few of the relays around, no dice. I was able to clear the code by disconnecting the battery for a few hours, however code came back after a few minutes of riding. Initially problem "seemed" to happen after getting a little air off of a rise by the garden. I dont even think the back tires came off the ground. Also, it tends to crank slow or makes a high pitch noise when I initially turn the key.

Where should I continue looking?

Ok so I have a 2011 honda Foreman all stock I’m looking at doing some upgrades just thought I’d get everyone’s else’s opinion on the subject matter
Wheels and tires are first
I’m looking at some itp ss wheels I like the look of the 14" wheels and I’m looking at the 27" mud lite xl tires now will I have to do any real modification to it so I don’t loose a bunch of power and also I’m looking at the hmf exhaust with the air filter and the jet kit as well
Do I need a lift kit for the wheels and tires like I say I’m just thinking bout it is don’t want to spend a bunch of money and. Jack up my quad

I purchased a ’15 570 SP Hunter and have been pretty happy with it. I’m now looking to shed some wattage & add some protection. So I went to Polaris’ website and filtered my bike.
Apparently NONE of the OEM parts fit my bike. I checked all sub categories and nothing fits, according to the website. I attempted to fill out the "contact us" form, which also didn’t work.:arg:

So I have a couple questions:
1 – Has anyone else experienced this type of issue?
2 – Is the filter on the site broken?
3 – Is there some major change that occurred after 2015 rendering all accessories impossible to acquire?

Looking to change bulbs to L.E.D (I’m aware of these threads) and add a bumper (aware of GURU)
