Back for help on my 1988 Honda fourtrax 2×4. I have since replaced the carb, plug, wire, solenoid and an oil change. After installing all the new parts and adjusting to what seemed right it fired right up and I ran it around the yard and ran good. Turned it off and on a few times, left for work. Came home after work to look it over again and haven’t gotten it to fire up again since Friday.
It cranks and sometimes will give a sign of life but thats about it. Spark plug is fouled now and only giving a white spark. It’s a cheap NGK so first thing I plan to try today is a better spark plug.
One other problem is the the choke valve kit i bought and cable just don’t seam right but it worked the other day. But if I where to use a long thick spring to keep the choke valve pushed all the way in, it would still run just no choke correct?
I have an 03 Troy Lee predator 500. Was riding yesterday and the battery strap broke causing battery to come out of tray. The quad cut off and now will do nothing. I have verified the batter connections and that it is charged etc. the push button does nothing, so I jumped the solenoid. In doing this she will turn over but has no spark. I have been searching for a fuse, with no luck. The guy I purchased from lost key and had it bypassed. Which has been working fine so far. New to forums. Any help greatly appreciated

I’m new to the site. I have a question for the group. I just traded in my 2012 800xt Commander on a 2014 Maverick Max XRS.
It came with:
30" QuadBoss tires
Clutch spring upgrade
Auto-Sport Low
Reflash
QuadBoss fold windshield and an aluminum roof
Here’s my question:
I have been reading up on all of the modifications this guy did. They all sound like great mod’s. My problem is when I start from a resting position, there is some jerking that happens. If feels like the belt is slipping. The dealer said that he put a new belt in for me while he was doing the clutch. The machine only has 400 miles on it. Is it normal to have the jerking with 30" tires? Also, if anyone has them mod’s, let me know what you think.

Quick question: has anyone had to install a tuner on their bike after a Yoshimura slip-on install? I recently installed a Yoshimura (over all the other options) due to CanAm’s stance that a programmer wasn’t needed, but now I find that when I let off the gas I routinely get popping in the exhaust. I presume that this is due to less flow restriction in the new exhaust, thus a leaner mix.
If I need a tuner, what would you folks suggest? I’d like to keep it as simple as possible, since I really don’t feel like constantly tinkering with the bike. Was looking at the HMF, but not sure if it’s a drop in replacement since it’s optimized for their exhaust and not the Yoshimura.
