I have a 2016 HIghlifter Sportsman 1000. I purchased the ATV used and it had an HMF exhaust can installed. I have used the ATV a few times, and I have noticed it is a little sluggish diring take off, runs hot (burnt plastic), and back fires a little when i let off the throttle. I am guessing I need more fuel, so I am looking for suggestions. Help me find a great tune or programmer I can install on my atv. What have you used, and how much did you like it?
Hello. My father bought my son a 2016 outlaw 50 and we are trying to figure out how to make it faster. We have the throttle limiter all the way out. We have not been able to find any aftermarket parts or modifications for this machine. He is 5 and is racing a harescramble series so we can’t buy bigger until he is a little older. Someone mentioned removing a spacer behind the clutch to give it a few mph more but i’m not finding any instructions on how to do this. Any advise is appreciated! Thanks!
I have a 2006 Polaris Sportsman 800 Efi. The AWD is not working. I have changed the front diff fluid. My Speedo does not work. The only thing that works is the RPM, and all lights. My AWD light comes on but doesn’t engage. I checked the voltage from the battery and is 12v. I checked the voltage coming out of Speedo to front diff and is only 10v. Is my Speedo bad?
I discovered the other day on my 13 renegade 1000 at the little rubber boot off the CVT exhaust had dry rotted. So I ordered a new part was attempting to replace it. I never seen the like of something so inaccessible and over-engineered. Is there any trick to getting to that. I tried to unbolt the air duct, but everything else brake lines and computer harness and everything is tied into it. And even once it’s loose it still won’t come out for the heat shield… I am about to tear our this heat shield out and throw it away…
This problem started out with a little popping out the exhaust when letting off after WOT. It progressed to a backfire/popping combination problem that got worst until finally the bike wouldn’t run. After riding the bike for an hours or so I returned to my truck to load it and it started backfiring rel bad and died (luckily I was back to the truck!). It would crank but did not have enough power to load itself on the truck. I used my winch with the new remote I installed on it to load the bike.
Took it to the dealer and they said it was the fuel pump. Barely a year old, 59 hours and the fuel pump goes out! $370 for the pump and another $130 for labor and it is on backorder until October 10! Well, luckily I have a great dealer (Gene’s Power Sports) and they are going to repair the bike free of charge.

This really isn’t a question just me venting my frustration. I have this one new landowner that has completely blocked a major access route through country land that has wrecked our trails. These trails have been here for over 20 years and the previous land owner had no problems with us riding. His son took over the house and has blocked all access. The thing is, his house is not anywhere near these trails. These trails are a quarter mile away from his house and it is unused forest.
I would understand if this was farmland or the trails were next to his house creating noise. We have removed blockages and he continues to cut down huge trees. Someone tried to talk to him and he was not friendly and just said it’s my land and I don’t want you on it. I understand this is his right, but seriously? There is no way around without driving on a major roadway. Anyone else had to deal with this before?
OK, since there is always a bunch of questions about IRS VS SRA’s
lets see what happens here with this question
HOW many times have you replaced your rear axle on your SRA< and how many axles have you replaced on your SRA
NOW I think most of the older SRA ‘s all had the weak link of the left seal/bearing going out
I have owned a SRA 400 foreman for 17 yrs now
I have replaced ONE rear axle due to that seal going out and water getting in and ruining the splines(rusted them up and they stripped)
I have replaced TWO front axles
I have never had a diff issue with front or rear to date
SO How many axle’s repairs have you had on your IRS/SRA atv’s?
I am guessing the mud guys and larger tires guy will have more than more stock set up atv;’s too??
SO< what all have you had to replace and in HOW long!
