I guess Muzzy went out of biz.

I have a Muzzy exhaust on my 2010 renegade. I was out riding and blew out the end cap and spark arrestor last week. I was able to find the end cap but not the spark arrestor. Does anyone have a thought on what i could do? Or better yet a spark arrestor for sale for this unit? It would be a massive help if someone could dig one out otherwise i may have to get a new unit.

Also I bought the bike used and therefore I dont know if i have a full exhaust including headers or not. In 2010 did they offer just a slip on for this bike? any thoughts on how i can tell if i have after market headers or not?

Hi guys, I have a 99 sportsman 500. Runs pretty well overall. Only issue I have is really long cranking times some of the time. When it hasn’t been ran for a while and is cooled to ambient temp, I can choke it, and it’ll start right away. Sometimes though it’ll die within a few seconds and then is a bear to start. It’ll take about 30 seconds or more of cranking before it’ll finally start again.

And when you shut it off when it’s hot, it’s almost impossible to get it started again. No amount of cranking with or without choke, with or without throttle seems to be able to get it started.

The strange thing is though, once it is running, it runs absolutely perfectly. No hesitations, nothing. It runs perfect.

Any ideas where to start? With hunting season here I’ll be using it a alot more, and it’d be nice to get this figured out soon.

i know the factory one is 190+ here in south flat when it 95* out side this thing gets super hot.

put the fan on a constant switch but that doesn’t help much

Hey. Joined to better my knowledge about my estimated 97?? Big bear 350 4×4.

I’m looking into full exhaust options for my bike right now I have a slip on muzzy and I like the sound. It’s aggressive with a decent amount of volume. But I want to go dual. What options are out there with a nice sound, loud with good performance? I tried looking for dual muzzys but I can’t find it no where
