Question;
I am building a shelf in my garage. It will be approx. 26 inches deep and 10 feet wide. It will be secured on the back to the wall and on the right to the wall the left will be bolted to an adjustable rack the front will be free floating. I need to know the proper header beam i would need to cover the 10 foot span. I was thinking 2 – 2×6’s would be enough but reading different things leads me to think i would need 2 – 2×10’s. The shelf may a descent amount of weight on it after filled with storage stuff.
So what is the proper header beam I would need to build?
I have a 1995 polaris 300 4×4. I am trying to mount a winch for the snow plow rather than the manual lift I currently have. I have searched the Internet and have worked with a dealer and can’t seem to find a mounting plate. Anyone have a solution. Someone has to have a winch mounted.
Anyone live close to Minneapolis? If so, we’d love to get your machine for two weeks so we can develop a plow mount for the 2016 Grizzly 700 and 2016 Kodiak 700.

Hello everyone first post and need some help. Recently put a brand new battery in my 4-wheeler and a week later it was dead. So, I’ve been told it’s the stator or regulator rectifier. The 4-wheeler will idle fine but when you give it throttle it goes dead immediately. Will a bad stator or rectifier cause this? I know you can test the stator and regulator but I’m not real electrical savvy. This 4-wheeler is stock and never had any problems. Carb and gas tank is clean with fresh fuel. Any help is appreciated.

I ordered a new air filter. In the manual in says pour some inside the filter and work around until completely covered. The NEW filter had oil inside of it already, do I still need to pour some inside? I ordered from babbits, and its suppose to be oem. Thanks for reading…

Hey all. New to this forum just to ask this question;
I snapped a bracket off my swing arm that holds the skid plate on (1987 trx250r) I was wondering if it would weaken the structural integrity of the swing arm if i welded a bolt to it and then drilled a hole in my new skid plate. Will this weld create a fracture point? I put her through a lot of abuse on the trails. Any info is appreciated, happy trails

Hey guys, kinda being puzzled on what’s going on with my motor. The other day I was riding down the road and was cruising about 45mph then the quad power went flat, still running but no power. About 10 seconds after going flat out picked back up had plenty of power but unfortunately had a nasty tick in the motor. ? had plenty of oil, 93 octane does have high hrs about 600 and 1600 miles.
I tore the top end apart and found a blue mark on the crank and a scored piston. I just want to know if these 660 cranks from factory have the blue mark on the crank and maybe get some opinions on what might have happened.
