Directions and info for pickett state park /black house mountain

Hey guys I’m looking to get some more information on how to get to the trails at pickett state forest/ black house mountain trails. I live in middle tn and have been there once before but has been years. I have looked online and can’t seem to find good information on where exactly to go to get to these trails. Also what trails are good to ride and what not. Any info is appreciated. Thanks

2002 Honda TRX400EX – Tusk Adjustable Axle/Bearing Carrier

Hey everyone,

So yesterday I finally got to ride my machine properly for the first time.

3 hours of 3rd and 4th gear trail riding, inclines, whoops, sand pits, mud, rain….. It was awesome!

Me and my buddy have the same machine, but his is a bone stock ’03, and mine is an ’02 with some goodies, including a Tusk adjustable axle.

My buddy blew out his axle bearing, so we took his apart to replace the whole carrier and bearing assembly.

I wanted to take my axle apart so I could get some grease in there as well.

I noticed that my bearing carrier does NOT have a grease nipple (my buddy’s does and so does his replacement carrier).

I also was not able to slide the carrier off of the axle.

The bearings seem fine as the carrier spins freely around the axle, but I am not sure how I’m supposed to get grease in there if the carrier has no grease nipple and I can’t remove it from the axle.

If anyone has any advice, it would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks for reading folks! 🙂

Sportsman 2007 500 X2 EFI will not start. Please help

Hello! I am somewhat new to this world and to this forum so please excuse my ignorance on the matter. I sure could use some help here and some advice. I bought a 2007 Polaris Sportsman 500 H.O. X2 EFI last year. Only has a few hundred miles on it. It ran perfectly this past year then suddenly problems started a few months ago… When you go to turn it on, you turn the key once and the odometer display doesn’t turn on at all and all you hear is a humming sound coming from the fuel pump and click sounds coming from the EFI on the carburetor. This just continues on and on unless I turn the key off. However, “sometimes” if I turn the key and wait a few minutes the display will flicker on briefly and then flicker back off. When it flickers on the humming stops and the EFI stops clicking, but when the display goes off the humming starts again and the clicks start again. Now other times the screen will flicker a few times and then it will stay on, so then I turn the key and the ATV fires up no problem and I can go a ride it for hours with no issues. Then I can turn it off and back on 11 times in a row with no issues, then suddenly at random it will do the same thing again, screen flickers and won’t come on and the fuel pump hums and EFI clicks. A few times this happened while in mid ride with the ATV on and the display shut off and as did the ATV. I can NOT find any consistency with this issue. Sometimes it takes me 20 minutes until the display will flicker and finally stay on and I can start the ATV and ride, but then it might shut off a dozen times while I ride it doing the same issue, or I can get the ATV started in 1 minute and not have it shut off at all… I am totally lost. I put a brand new battery in, tripled checked my positive and ground cables were secure and had no corrosion. I have no idea what the issue could be since it is so random. I took a video of the issue, but I’m not sure if I can upload here. Please any help would be great! Thank you in advance.

’86 Fourtrax 200SX headlight question/help

Hey everyone,

First post on here but I’ve been reading a lot since I got a 200SX a few months ago.

My question is the light bulb in the headlight went out. It is a "Stanley 12V45/45WV". I have searched and can’t find that specific bulb but I find some that are close and look very similar. My local honda dealers told me to find it on the internet lol, so they are no help. I have a high and low beam switch, I was thinking about maybe trying to install a LED bar where the head light is but I don’t know what wattage size would be ok for my atv or how to wire it. I do know there are three wires going to the bulb housing, I assume high/low/ground?

If anyone has any suggestions, I’m all ears/eyes. Thanks for your help!

2005 trx250ex sportrax

I recently picked up this 2005 trx250ex sportrax from the original owner. I need to get the serial number off of it to get it registered. Can anyone show me a picture of where this is located or explain where I can find it.

I have been looking in the front where they say it should be stamped on the frame but I haven’t been able to locate it yet.

Thanks.
