1999 sportsman 500 carb issues

Hello, i’m new here and have a problem with my atv. Removed the carb cleaned it over night, changed the needle and seat. reinstalled the engine idle was low about to stall out so increased idle after a while the idle becomes way to high so i lower it down then it runs good for a while but soon becomes to low. While this is happening I was riding around and I get alot of popping or back firing through the carb. Not sure what the problem is any help would be great thanks Mike.

2001 Rancher 350 ES questions

Hey all. New to Ranchers and just picked one up for cheap that’s having the famous "stuck in gear" problem with the electric shifter. According to the LCD it’s stuck in 2nd gear, which seems to be what everyone else gets stuck in. Has a brand new shifter motor, I had unplugged the harness going into the shift sensor which seemed fine, unbolted the sensor and inspected it (seemed fine), and looked throughout everywhere just to see what I could find.

Went to the back right fender underneath and saw this. What am I missing here? That red plug is identical to the black plug that is plugged in, and the red plugs in there as well. Any insight?

Need help with carb problem

Hi all, thanks for this great forum.
I have a 1998 TRX 300 4X4 that bought new, it has never been beat up. It has been sitting most of the last 10 years so I rebuilt the carb and gave it some fresh gas. When I start it with the choke on it runs good but as it warms up when I move the choke to half still OK but when I try to move it back any more it stalls right out. What have I done wrong? Any HELP please.:confused:

Tire came a little loose.

You see I was ride on my 96 fourtrax 300 and when I looked to my left I noticed my tire was no longer attached to my Honda. I would say 15 seconds before I heard this crunch. I was driving a flat grassy lawn. What would have caused this and how do you think I can fix it? Thanks for the advice!

Lug Nuts

Not sure if this a cruel trick by Yamaha or not.

Today I went to O’Reilly Auto Part to look for some lug nuts for the 2013 700 SE Grizzly….funny thing…they don’t have any that fits the studs on the Grizzly.

I tried every stub they had an the nut just would not screw on.

The manual, as far as I can tell doesn’t list the thread size so it is a little difficult to order them…(I want a full setl.

Does anyone know what size the threads are and which retailer may sell them?
