I am buying a used 2014 450 grizzly tomorrow and wanted to know what to look for. It only has 23 miles on it so I know it hasnt been used much. It was a year end model bought in 2015. I want to make sure I give it a thorough lookover before settling up with him. It looks great, it runs great. I just want to make sure everything is good. I got my butt handed to me when I bought my Jeep Cherokee and don’t want to do that again.

Thank you everyone who helped me out with the ATV trailer question I posted a week ago. Next big purchase is the snow plow package for my 2017 Max 570 XT.

I love how OEM stuff all fits together nicely and is plug and play but I’ve read a whole lot of great things about the Warn plows and I really want the Propivot that turns your plow automatically with a switch.

A very brief background. We had an acreage in Minnesota prior to moving to CA with the Air Force. I had a Polaris Ranger crew and plowed with it ALOT. I get really tired of getting off and on adjusting the blade all the time. We are moving to Ohio next and buying an acreage with 10-30 acres. One of them has a 1/2 Mile long driveway. I am most likely going to buy the stateplow to throw the snow a little farther then a straight.

Anyone using a Warn or Can-am plow heavily? I’m not new to plowing snow and know a tractor or truck will do it faster. I plow with the ATV or side by side because I enjoy it.

I have wanted an ATV for years, but never had the opportunity to get one. My wife and I were driving yesterday and she said let’s go look at that ATV there. We turned around and looked at it. 2014 450 EPS with 23 miles on it. It has a dry storage box on the rear rack, gun boot and mount, Crossbow mount, 2500lb warn winch, spotlight, and a 48" Blade. He wanted 6k for it I was able to get him to drop it to $5900.

He bought it brand new in 2015 and took it hunting one time. Spent 9k for it and the accessories. He had a heart attack shortly after purchasing and can’t hunt anymore. I plan to use it primarily for hunting, some yard work and of course some fun too. Looking forward to checking out the forum. I will need lots of help from the other riders.

5 degrees, snow flurries and lots of mud! A perfect day on the trails. Richard even manages to put his Sportsman on its side!!

My after market relays that I use for my light bars etc. are not lasting. They get corroded really fast and stop working. Is there a waterproof relay people are using that seems to last? Thanks

Ok.. I seem to be the only lonely guy lining up with the Polaris Outlaw 525IRS with the KTM motor. I know all the 525’s were KTMs but just clarifying.

Just did a GNCC last week and again only guy out of hundreds. Is anyone out there still racing these machines or am I the last man standing?

Tried a Yamaha 450 but it hurt my back and I am old +40 class. I am doing this just for fun but friends keep telling me I would be a whole lot faster on a newer straight axle machine.

Just trying to get some opinions at this time and what should I move up to??

I usually place in the upper 50% overall.

Anyhow, would be nice to know if I am alone or not.

All kinds of conflicting info out there. I know I can put 80/90W GL5 in the rear (10oz) … am I fine to put it in the front diff (5oz)… I’m thinking yes but would like to confirm. I know the hubs need the polaris stuff or ATF.
