Wonder if Bombardier will void my extended warranty or warranty period if I do my own oil changes .. We own a 2016 commander 1000xtp…

I have a 2016 Outlander Max Limited that I just got back from the dealership after its first service.
After several rides I notice a very strong smell of gear oil when I accelerate. They changed the gearbox oil but it seems to be coming from the CVT vent near the pod. No oil on garage floor.
Any ideas. Dealer is 1 hour away.

I bought a 2007 400ex about a month or so ago haven’t had any problems with it then about a week ago I checked the oil and it was a little low so I filled it up yesterday I checked it again and it was empty i can’t find any leaks anywhere it doesn’t smoke at all and don’t have a oil burning smell I can not figure this out if anyone has any ideas please help

What some people do to bikes is beyond me..

Anyways…IF I decide to mess with it, what can anyone tell me about it?? Pros/Cons?

Found a sportsman 1000 xp with 38 hours and 277 miles on it for around 8000. Was wondering if this was a good deal or not. 4 wheeler looks to be in excellent shape. Haven’t had time to look at it but he sent me a video of it. Thanks in advance.

Hey outlaws, got my brand new warn pro vantage 2500-s today !, ordered a KFI mounting plate, and a KFI stealth roller fair lead earlier, be a few days before all this comes in. currently rebuilding a couple atvs right now, ’02 trx350fm rancher ( was a 2wd, converted it to 4wd ). and doing a top end job on a ’98 trx400fm, waiting on parts for that. anyway, I was thinking of taking pic’s of the install on my winch when I get to it ?, and post in this thread of the install in case anyone wants to see how easy it is ?..lol. this warn winch is going on my ’03 trx450fm, last thing she needs, and will be 100% complete !.

I have a 2006 500 sportsman and there is no power to the ign switch. The guy I bought it from said that he put a new battery in it and accidently shorted it when he was tightening up the pos post. I thought there may be a fuse but cannot find it. The power wires going into the ecm have power but nothing coming out. Any ideas thanks

I have a 2005 Sportsman 500 HO that has begun sputtering at around 3500 rpm only. It sputters like a rev limiter at 3500 Accelerating or decellerating. I have a spare parts bike and have swapped both modules rebuilt the carb, changed the plug and run 10 gallons of fresh gas through it. Any ideas what might cause a mid rpm miss?

Well went to start my 570 today. And now I have a grind that occasionally happens. Has anyone else had this problem? Ive been looking at tearing the stator cover off and inspecting to see if it broke a tooth off of one of the gears in the starting system. Thanks

I’ve been having issues with my new to me ’88 250 4×4 popping out of high forward gear. I pulled out the gear box expecting the shift fork to be bent, but it looks fine as does the rest of the gear box. The only issue I found is some noisy bearings that I’ll replace.

Since the problem doesn’t appear to be in the gear box, the shifter and linkage adjustment are all that’s left. I noticed there are notches on the plate where the gear labels are. I’m wondering if the shift lever is supposed to have tension pushing it into the notch to help hold it in gear. I bought the machine last year, so I don’t know if it’s been altered over the years…
