2013 Outlander 800 xt p

Hey,
I’ve been considering getting a outlander but I’ve been contemplating between a grizzly. The reason I’m interested in the outlander is for 2 up riding, but what I’m unsure about is the reliability and dependability that I can expect from the grizzly. I just don’t want to buy a money pit.
The one I’m looking at is a 2013 800 xt-p max, with 1200 miles 90 hrs and a plow. It’s adult owned and maintained and Full service done at 1050. He’s ready to sell it for 8k.

I currently have a 1988 Honda Trx300, I’ve never had a can am before.
Any info will be much appreciated
Thanks

Starter Removal

Need some help on how to remove the starter on my 2004 sportsman 500 HO.
I’ve seen videos, read some threads on how to do it without removing the clutch cover, but my 1st problem is removing the air tube thingy blocking the way out for the starter without having to take all the plastic off. The videos I’ve seen show just taking off a couple of screws, but mine doesn’t have the same design. The air thingy actually goes behind the plastic and up towards the top of the dash ????. Sure would appreciate any help offered.

Thanks

Plow worth the $?

Hey Guys,

Found a Cycle Country 60" blade with mid mount push tubes for 75 bucks. The mount for my 04 700 is $73 putting me at 150. Is this a good price? Its used but looks to be in pretty good shape.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks!

2006 rancher TRX420 help!

Never experienced any problems with my rancher until recently. My rancher sat for about a year due to having my first child. That resulted in ethanol (idiot move) in my tank gunking up. Long story short, went to my property and noticed power up a hill was different. It shut off and would not turn back on. A day later it cranked but turned off after several seconds. Replaced the oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, gas line, inspected gas tank (no debris), changed rear diff. Fluid as it needed to be changed anyways, checked compression which was good, fuel injector was good and checked fuses under the seat which were good. The kill switch is not engaged and I go to crank and it will crank but never start. If starting fluid is sprayed into engine it will crank up about 5 seconds and putter out. I called Honda and they quoted me $130 for a diagnostic. Any help in the would be greatly appreciated so I can do the work myself.

Thanks again!

Chris
