Head gasket

2004 sportsman 700 blew a hose and lost water, son drove it home hot, pulled in smoking oil at manifold and no water. Fixed hose, new thermostat, runs good except oil is going onto manifold and oil is full of coolant. Would you say this the head gasket or something worse? Does engine have to come out to replace head gasket? Procedure manual for head gasket replacement available? My mechanic abilities on a scale of 1-10 is an easy 8. What is the difficulty of this? Thanks.

Need primary clutch

Hey I had a shop install my qsc new clutch kit drove it twice and with my luck the primary clutch back plate fin thing snapped in half, looking to buy a whole new primary wondering if you can help me out with this,I have a 2015 sportsman 570 non ebs with 27" tires

06 Sportsman 500 EFI Backfire Issue

Had my 06 Sportsman 500 EFI on the bench at my local polaris dealer for over 4 weeks and they can’t seem to diagnose a backfire issue.

Unit idles fine but backfires when any throttle applied.

Originally they said it was sensor in the airbox….solved nothing. Then they replaced the injector and MAP sensor grommets….solved nothing.

Now they want to start replacing PDM and ECM? Could either of these cause a backfire issue? I don’t want to dump big money into parts for no reason anymore.

Should they not have a way to bench test or check if they are ok via laptop?
