Decided to put a winch on the new 570 I picked up the other day. Went with a Badlands 3500 lb thru Harbor Freight. I was shopping for the winch mount and found a KFI model # 100740 thru Jet.com for $29. Installed it tonight and it fit perfect. Thought the price was really good compared to what I was seeing out there. I have used Jet.com a few times with no problems. It’s kind of like dealing with Amazon. Hey guys. Just bought my first Polaris atv, I got a sportsman 570 sp and I love it. I have always had sports quads and dirt bikes but never a 4×4. Getting used to it still. I go to the river a lot and go to Colorado once a year and ride trails. I already have the Titan lounger and ordered the at superstore foot peg kit for my machine. I’m looking for a good front rack stereo setup or to build my own if you guys have some pointers on the best options for that. I have been looking at the power rail bar as you can add lights and speakers to it and a power box to hold and charge your phone all at once. Also have been looking at the boss audio systems and atv trail tunes but they seem higher priced. Any input on what setup to run would be awesome.
Hey guys…I posted this here because I need the expertise of the HL crowd. I put on a big lift and had to replace the rear brake lines. Now attempting to bleed the brakes and I am unable to to pull any fluid to the back. The manual shows a separate fluid container for the rear brakes on a regular 850 but not sure this is the case on the HL. If I bleed the front brakes it pulls from the master cylinder on the handle bar (as expected). I’ve pulled the line going to the rear from the foot brake pedal cylinder and no fluid flows. It’s completely dry. I’ve got a one man pressure bleeder so it "should" pull the fluid but no go. There is a black hose leading up to the steering column but not sure where it goes. Short of tearing all the plastics off…which I’m about to do…anyone have an idea? I do not see another container.
Love this machine and can’t wait to try out the lift.

Ok, Sorry for another redundant question. I have a sportsman 570 Base
model. Im looking for some plug and play leds for the headlights and tail lights.
Main goal is brighter and whiter bulbs. Not trying to drop wattage, so if higher wattage, no sweat. Dont want to hear about HIDS or anything that isnt P&P.
Pics and links would be a big plus. Ive searched on here, but the led topics go all over the place. So if you have done a P&P led bulb change, Please chime in. Also looking for led P&P only tail light bulbs, any and all help would be great. Not looking for "These Should Work" answers. Thank You, and Sorry again.
I came across this Sportsman 450 and was wondering what should I look at to help determine the value of the quad? I will post pics as soon as my computer feels like doing it.
My ’06 Sportsman has recently begun flashing a battery symbol at me. I had the battery tested and it is still good. I have to jump start the guad but it runs on it’s own. I tested the voltage after starting and had a reading of 16.4V. The icon and speed needle were both flashing. When the fan kicked on the voltage dropped to 15.6V and the flashing quit. The voltage didn’t go back up after that and when the fan kicked on the second time the voltage dropped to 14.5V with no flashing indicators then returned to 15.6 when the fan shut off. I checked at the ECM and had power at the red/white strip wire(third from the right top row) and at the red wire(4th from the right bottom row) I haven’t found a schematic online or a Youtube for this specific ATV. Any ideas what I should be focusing on?
BTW my low beams also quit working. I can measure battery power at the legs on the bulb when the switch is on and continuity across the legs too but no illumination. That is something that I have never experienced before. High beam and taillights work still. ????
Okay so here is my situation, I traded in my old 2008 Sportsman 800 and invested in a new Polaris Sportsman 1000xp. It came with a bumper that has a mount for the Polaris led bar but instead I ordered a couple of the led cubes. I have searched threads and nobody has posted any pictures, and I’m no electrician so all I’m asking for is a few pictures if you’ve done this but I am wanting to wire them up to come on with the brights instead of a switch. My problem is I have no idea what wire that would be or how to approach this, any help is appreciated!
i have a friend that has a honda fourtrax 300 2000 he said the cdi went bad and got fixed by a shop and then it went again so he got it fixed agaian now it did it again he said hes going down the road and all the sudden without warning it shuts down and now i belive he said it wont even crank. hope somone has an idea what it is. thanks
